We’ve stayed 3 times. #15,#17,#9 they are all exactly the same. Clean and beach themed condos. The kitchen is not stocked with anything extra, pots and pans definitely need to be upgraded (we bring our own). The beds, pillows and sheets are AMAZING. I get the best sleep when we stay here! Having the golf cart as part of the stay is definitely a plus as well. We really enjoy staying here. The pool also is an added bonus for extra swim time for the kiddos.

I gave them a 2 because this is our second and last time staying there. No electricity in bedroom. Both times No TV. DOOR HANDLE BROKE. it took us 15 minutes to open the door because the handle was broke.No lights in pool Dark and Scary. Drowning lots of small children unsupervised in pool in the dark that you could not seein pool. Very Dangerous. No outside lights for door or car. Burnt out or No electricity? Ashame the cottage is very clean and love the golfcart. But the Door Lock should be a #1 priority for up-keep & maintenance. No Electricity or TV Nope Never again!

We loved these little cottages. Great location in town. Perfect sized cottages. Beds were comfortable, place was clean. Only complaints would be the bright parking lot light above the bedroom windows, and the dryer didn't work well, but all in all, we'd come back!

Had 4 bunk beds in the second room, not good for a couple. Beds were way too soft.Cute and clean.

Very nice accomodations. Clean, bright, beds comfortable. None of the sheets fit the beds, bathroom barn door falls off very easily, the swimming pool always looked milky, needed shock. PARKING was a joke. If you have more than 1 car and 1 golf cart, your guests cars will be towed off. Serious issues with parking. Also, no blow dryer furnished.

We stayed in Unit 4 at Old Town Cottages. As soon as we opened the door it smelled strongly of smoke when this is advertised as a "smoke free" rental on multiple websites. When I brought this to the attention of the Silver Sands staff, they apologized but said they "cannot control what their guests do." I asked why housekeeping wouldn't have proactively reported the smell because it was very obvious, and Silver Sands responded with "well maybe the housekeepers are smokers too." Very unprofessional response. We ended up leaving the property a day early and requested a refund due to the smoke issue. I called twice but have not received a response to my request. Also know that Unit 4 is the only unit without an outdoor shower. Again, false advertising. We did really need one because we brought along our dog. Lastly, I unfortunately left a bathing suit in the master bedroom closet...I realized this just a couple of hours after leaving. Because we checked out a day early, I thought there would be no issue having someone get the suit, but they were not willing to send someone there to check despite talking several times to "Tonya." So so disappointed. My fault for leaving it there...I should have realized at that point that no one from Silver Sands is going to go above and beyond to help a customer. I recommend finding another place in Port Aransas to stay...one that is not managed by Silver Sands.

Beautiful condo with nice doorside pool... but NO TV!! We asked others staying there and no one else could get TV either. I finally used my phone and hooked up to Netflix, but the category was stuck on the "romantic and sexy" stories category. Imagine if the grandkid was with me!! Management never called back. Several cooking pans and dishes were dirty

We stayed in cottage #4 Friday-Monday. We usually stay at Aransas Princess but thought we would try something new this year. The kitchen was not stocked with anything, we had to throw TONS of food away due to the swarms of fireants we could not get rid of. I have an infant that could not crawl around due to ants on the ground also. The bathrooms only had 2 wash clothes, but yet they state the cottage can sleep 8 people... so we did not bring towels or washcloths since we thought they would be provided. Our cousins stayed in Cottage 8 and had the same issues we did as well as microwave not working. Only plus for them is that theirs came with a golf cart included in their rental, even though we paid the same amount for the cottages.... They request for you to start the dishwasher when you leave, but do not leave you dishwasher detergent to use... This place has great potential to be top notch. The pool is great, large ice machine on site (but never has ice in it) and the parking was easy but needs lots of help. We will be going back to Aransas Princess next year.
