If you get loaded here make sure you secure your load in between. Apparently its slides super easy and will make your axels overweight. They won’t tell you this or anything. And the cat scale is 20 miles away. So by the time you get through traffic and then have to come back for a reload your losing lots of time. Then they will charge you to reload cause it ain’t their fault you don’t assume pallets of wood slide like they are on ice.

82 east to W Rev Dr north, then turn east onto Houston Ave. As your passing 5th st on Houston Ave, there should be a electronic sign saying "Port trucks turn right." This will lead you to a driveway with a stop sign. Go thru that stop sign and follow that road to the next stop sign. The Port personnel on the gulf cart will get you checked in

I'm gonna make this simple for everyone. Go to the intersection of 5th and Houston. Find the gravel parking lot with an asphalt driveway running through it (Edit: gravel is now blacktop but driveway can still be seen). Go down driveway, over tracks then curves to the left behind building. Go to end of road. There should be someone in a golf cart to greet you. After talking to this person, you'll walk over to gaurd shack. (29.8662961, -93.9362789) <---these are the coordinates for gaurd shack.I was in, loaded, and out in 1 hour. I have nothing negative to say about my one experience here.

Do not go directly to the front door, along Av Houston you will find a whereabouts of military vehicles, enter the street that crosses that yard and pass the train tracks, continue until the stop and there are the personnel in golf carts that will register and they will tell you where to go, they receive from 6 AM to 3 pm, if your appointment is not from the day you arrive they will not receive you, they will schedule another appointment, there is no truck stop sercas, you have to go to the Pilot or search on the i10, you cannot stay in their yards or streets, one more thing to enter the port you have to pay exactly 75 dollars in cash or pay them by email

They definetly take their time when they take a break. Be sure you get the right pick up number. Once you are in they load you fast.
