This Walmart is convenient to one of my homes and has decent prices and selection of products. Except for the tobacco checkout, customers have to self checkout at the small checkout registers where the checked bags can't fit back in the cart and it is easy to forget some items at the store. Employees are reasonably congenial but complaining is met with " It isn't my fault, talk to the manager, manager says " Talk to Bentonville". It seems that the IT department and the computer cut back on employees and service to save money at the expense of the customers and Walmarts reputation.

Don’t go here. You’ll get told “15 minutes” repeatedly as they roll their eyes like YOU are inconveniencing THEM. Oh and don’t dare ask them to do their ACTUAL job by contacting insurances and what not, no they’ll just say that’ll be this amount (even when you have insurance that should clearly cover it). And then when you let them know you can’t call because well, you don’t have a phone… they’ll just say “I don’t know what to tell you.” Like the medication isn’t NEEDED for a sick child. They’re terrible human beings and even more terrible workers. If they can’t call insurance, can’t seem to actually fill prescriptions then what ARE they doing? Looks like Walmart is paying even more people to sit around and do nothing. Won’t ever be using their pharmacies again. Hopefully others follow suit and will put this trash company out of business.

They have really stepped up their game in the pharmacy department, Ms.Latonya (the assistant) an pharmacists Pete are a awesome team, patient and caring. They competed my mom prescription 30 minutes to close with 7 orders ahead of me and did rush or panic. I hope I have the young lady’s name right. She has beautiful light brown eyes. I will be sure to get her name next time I’m there.

I completed my checkout at one of the shelf checkouts at my local Walmart in Port Arthur, with my receipt in my hand. I walked out of the front door and headed to my car. After checking for cars passing by I walked into the crosswalk when someone yelled at me from behind, I turned around, and a plain-clothed associated and with one in a vest told me to come back so they can check my receipt. I turned and walked to the associate, asking the plain-clothed associate what the policy was on stopping customers outside of the store to check a receipt? He told me that they could, at that point I reminded him about the AP09 policy the company has to stop shoplifting and that they were not allowed to stop anyone past the front sidewalk for anything, let alone a simple receipt. I told him that I was a Store Co-Manager in the past, and I know the policy. In a very cocky nonchalant tone, he said that's fine and gave me back my receipt. At this point, I was furious, and on my way to my car, I called home office to report the issue. Still, when I spoke to the guy on the phone about the incident, he told me they could go into the parking lot to detain me if they wanted, my hatred for this company grew as I asked him when were they were going to stop treating people as criminals? He responded that he would pass this off to the Store Manager so I can receive a call about the issue, guess what I haven't gotten, even after trying to call the store directly myself? How long will Walmart continue to break the law and its own policies?

Pharmacist was very rude, automatically assume she knows what you want. Before I could ask a question about what kind of medicine (creme) I need to put on a skin rash. She quickly interrupts me by saying she can't help. She can't tell me what kind of rash it was...not even what I was going to ask. Glad I really don't use Walmart pharmacy.
