Post Offices near Port Isabel, TX

“The person delivering mail to the Laguna Vista/Port Isabel area has lost more than 10 packages of mine thus far and NO ONE is taking steps to correct this serious issue!

10 companies that have issued refunds to me have stated directly that my package was "lost in transit". I am in the process of compiling all relevant information, i.e. tracking numbers, etc., to file a complaint and if need be, bring this issue into legal action. This is NOT acceptable in any way!!

EDIT ON 8/28/23 - THERE HAVE BEEN FREQUENT ISSUES SINCE I SUBMITTED THIS REVIEW.

1. POSTAL DELIVERY WAS LEFT IN MIDDLE OF ROAD ON ANOTHER ROAD AND MARKED DELIVERED.
2. PACKAGES HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO PORT ISABEL POST OFFICE YET THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF DELIVERY.
3. DELIVERED TO SOME UNKNOWN ADDRESS YET MARKED DELIVERED 2 TIMES.

I CAN'T EVEN COUNT ON MAIL ARRIVING ANYMORE, AND CANNOT OBTAIN HELP FROM THE POST OFFICE! I'M GETTING AN ATTORNEY INVOLVED NOW.

The newly hired postal delivery driver is absolutely fantastic. After years of dealing with so many issues, i.e., missing mail, mail delivered to wrong address, packages found in the road and so many more, the P.O. has found a competent carrier that does his job without any issues. I'm thankful that this issue has finally been rectified.”

“The local staff in SPI is fantastic. The USPS overall is a disaster. We have a certified letter that they've been bouncing between SPI and Indiana for over a month! And this after having them do something similar for a package we sent to Indiana back in December. It finally came back to the SPI PO so we grabbed it. Needed the clothes for my father-in-law to be buried in!”
