The store is awesome! John is very accommodating to any needs you may have and is very truthful about his products ( what works in this weather) and is helpful to ensure you are satisfied with your purchases. We have previously purchased and recently added to our backyard collection. We plan to return for more household items soon

I've been purchasing furniture from this store for the last 22 years. I always drive in to Brownsville & look around because there's so many stores to choose from, but I almost always come back & purchase from tropical imports. I wanted to give a huge shout out to Renee Mayes and Tropical Home Furnishings. We purchased a condo on SPI in December that had been pretty well abused. We talked with Renee before we left and she asked a few questions regarding our taste in furnishings. When we returned a couple weeks ago we opened the door to a true show home! We could not have ever dreamed of it looking as great as it did. We were truly speechless with the transformation. Every little detail and every piece of furniture and art was more than we could have envisioned. If you need furniture or decorating, do yourself a favor and call Renee at Tropical Home Furnishings.

Tropical Home Furnishings and Renee were wonderful to work with. Renee asked us a few questions about our taste in furnishings and that was all that was needed. We left the state for a couple of months and upon our return we walk in to our new show home! so much more beautiful than we could even envision. if you have need of furnishings or decorating please give Renee a call. Renee and John work hard to find just the perfect furniture to take care of your needs. I have strange requests about what furniture can have on it(ex. furniture tacks) and they always come thru. Great quantity furniture too. I just replaced a sectional I have had for 12 years. Keep up the great work.

I can't begin to say how well my husband and I have been treated over the years that we have owned a home in Laguna Vista. Our most recent experience involved, for the most part, Sara Mock. Her understanding, expediency and feeling for our needs were her utmost concern. John and Renee were also especially helpful with our latest project as well as our friends Gilbert and Nikki. The products Tropical Home Furnishings represents are of great quality at a fair and reasonable price and their design advice is always right on. I always feel welcome when I walk into the store. I placed a large order for outdoor furniture late in October and was advised it would arrive the end of November. This mattered because my condo is sometimes leased and I had to take delivery only when I was there. We then went through several weeks of missed promised delivery dates, but in the end the furniture was delivered and the owners were extremely accommodating and even compensated me for my aggravation. That might sound like no big deal, but my experience these days is that sellers don't care about the buyer's experience, yet these folks did - unsolicited! The quality of the furnishings is top notch, and contrary to one of the other reviews, their prices are reasonable. So, definitely worth a visit, just try to have some flexibility in your delivery dates, which I didn't have! These are good people with good merchandise.
