While the diagnosis and treatment makes sense, my wife and I were surprised by the less gentle approach how in particular the Dr. handled our cute 7 month old 6.4 lbs Yorkie boy. Frankly, it reminded me of how I saw in my past farm animals being handled. Handling in particular small pets with a more gentle approach reduced the anxiety the pets feels already from being at the doctor's office with so many strangers around him.

Husband took our dog to this vet cause it had good reviews. Vet charged him $300 to do test and according to him “nothing was wrong with him” but sent him home with 3 different medications and later passed away at home advised him if our fur baby didn’t feel better by such and such date to take him elsewhere.

The ladies we're very nice and friendly. We didn't have to wait long. I took chief in to get his nails cut. She was real good with him.

The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Clean environment. The vet was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns with a smile. I know my fur baby is in good hands with Calhoun County Animal Hospital
