It was a great experience the room was very clean and we rested well. The people who work there was very friendly and nice from the time we checked in until we checked out . I will be staying there every time we have to stay over in Port Lavca Tx . If I had to say one thing bad is the break needs to be better powered eggs are not good .ps Mow your grass
Rooms: Very clean
Safety: Good
Walkability: Close to some stores

The beds are not comfortable and those pillows smell horrible. Walking into the room Always smells muggy. Plus front desk phones are out of order, no one answers just to make a reservation.
Rooms: Smells muggy once you walk into a room. I have never smell anything fresh cleaning. Those pillows smells like a sweat. They need new mattress very hard beds.

It is a decent hotel overall, but my room had no smell, while my friend's room had a musty smell. They do offer three complimentary cans of beer daily from 5 PM to 8 PM Monday to Thursday.

We love staying here for multiple reasons.
#1- The King Suite is very spacious with 600 square feet majority hotels do not have that size rooms. The bedroom is separate from the living room and kitchenette area. The large bathroom opens to the entry hallway of the living room area and then it has a second door that opens to the bedroom. The bedroom has a king size bed and a large dresser and 2 night stands on each side of the bed with a 65 inch TV mounted to the wall above the dresser. The closet is a decent size in the bedroom. The living room has a queen sleeper L- Sectional with a chaise chair and 2 end tables and a large work desk in the corner. A 65 inch TV mounted on the wall and an oak wood cabinet with drawers. The room also has a TV tray table and coffee table. The kitchenette has a sink and microwave refrigerator and a bar with a cabinet for storage on top and under sink. The shared kitchenette and living room also have a closet for storage or clothes. The room is always clean and stocked with essentials if not all you have to do is let the front desk know and they will make sure that you get everything you need asap. Staff is always nice and helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is fabulous and the staff is always friendly and always asking if anyone wants anything else before they shut down. The maid service is great too and super nice. This hotel is pet friendly and it is very clean even with pets allowed!!! The price is great and you won’t regret staying here!!!

I love my king room there’s sufficient amount of space. The restrooms are neat and clean except they didn’t had at least a bar of soap for hands but everything was great for my comfort. ‼️Also, my advice for the future guests make sure when you get in your room check the fridge and the phone are working and if not please let them know as soon as you can.‼️

The customer service was excellent and friendly. I stayed on the 3rd floor, which I had heard from another visitor on my way up was the "hot floor". When I got to my room, it was noticeably warmer than the rest of the hotel. Simply cranking the AC down and turning the fan on fixed that problem with no issue. There were some minor defects in the room; the bathroom door didn't want to shut, there was a poorly patched hole on the side of the bathtub and turning off the main light in the entryway turned off power to the tv and everything else I had plugged into that side of the room.
Aside from those few things, which are admittedly nit-picky, I had a great stay. The hotel is located close to restaurants, fast food, Walmart, and has plenty of great waterfront areas nearby for fishing or swimming.

Very clean, the pool is now open, as always this place meets my expectations!
Rooms: The most important thing is that it is clean and without bed bugs!
Nearby activities: It is close to the beach and very accessible to shops!
Food and drinks: It has a variety of breakfasts, basic but very good!

If you want the musty smell of Grandma's basement, RUN don't walk to this LaQuinta. Sure, it looks nice enough in the common/lobby area, then the farther away you get, the stronger the smell. Once you open the door to your room, BAM! There it is, that smell of "I'm not entirely sure this is healthy to breathe air."
All said and done, I didn't die, so there's that.
