Experience with both Day Surgery and ER in past six months. Staff in every department was professional, efficient and caring. Special thanks to day surgery nurses, BreeAnn in ER, CT dept team, Dr Peterson and Dr Crawley. This hospital is great!

Came in for an emergency for my brother in law at 12 am, the nurses seem bothered and disturbed we even showed up, big lady in the front showed nothing but disrespect to us!

Went for labor and delivery. Was given a nurse who made my whole experience dreadful. Marilyn forgot so many things, would cuss around her patients, was insulting, and complained about everything. Before being discharged she left me alone in the hallway on the wheelchair, where she ordered me to bring the baby back into the room (she forgot to complete documentation). Upon getting out of the wheelchair I fell with my newborn in my arms. Suffered a couple bruises but baby was safe. Spoke to head of the department. Hospital has yet to contact me back regarding the situation.

They took really good care of my mom who had surgery. Very friendly nurse and staff.

Went to the Emergency room for severe headache. The nurse checked my blood pressure which very high while he wasasking me questions he should have known that when taking a patient BP you get better results if the patient is still and not talking. The ER DR ordered a catscan. Now I know they had emergency to handle 1st. The Dr come acting like he didn't care about my pain I asked for pain medication several times all I got blood pressure pills.He told me the catscan was negative which was not ture cause my family Dr found the cause right away Abscess TOOTH!! and he FOUND IT ON THE CATSCAN.The ER never really examined to see what was causing my pain. He finally gave some pain medication and Prescription for the pain and discharge me.I spent Nearly 4 hours for in pain for an wrong diagnosis for a simpleabscess tooth. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I had heard this was a terrible hospital and avoided going there. I ended up experiencing an A-fib episode and felt like I had no time to get anywhere else. The staff was amazing and the Dr (Bunnell) figured out what my condition was when I had been searching for a diagnosis for a few months. It was an unusual condition and they nailed it and I'm on my way to resolving my condition!

If you have any choice at all, I would advise going to Edna or Victoria, TX with your medical needs. The doctor whom I saw attempted to coax me into medical services I did not want or need, and was very unkind and unprofessional. My mother who visited this hospital had a very similar experience.I will say, there are staff I encountered at this hospital that are very kind, but I'm afraid they're stuck in a bad place.

Was admitted in through the er where ER Dr's and staff were awesome but once on the floor was completely ignored by nursing staff !! An after 24 hrs in the hospital doctor legit looks me in my face an tells me he doesn't know what's wrong with me an I should just go home ! Most information I got from staff was 2 hrs before I was discharged by the nursery practitioner whom was the only person who seemed concerned abt my condition ! She was very informative, helpful and nice ! Rest if staff an doctors were dismissiv3 and rude !Definitely will not go here again ! Plus facilities were disgusting ! ??

I would like to thank all the doctors, nurses ,cafeteria workers & other staff for the wonderful care I received while staying in the hospital. I was there for 5 days & everyone was very attentive to my needs while I was ill. I would recommend this hospital to everyone!

Went in for an annual checkup which is covered by insurance. Got my bill and they billed me an extra charge for a office visit while I was there for my annual. They said I talked to the doctor about other things like smoking and vitamin D which was not part of my annual. The doctor brought up smoking so I’m not sure what they are talking about. They were going to do labs so I ask for my vitamin D to be checked. So anyway always ask if your going to be billed extra for anything they ask or you request. Just looking for ways to pad your bill.
