I was looking for lumber for my fence was shopping around I walked into Martins Lumber from the moment I walked in the door Lizandro Cortes answered all my questions listened to what I wanted & provided the best options from start to delivery was hands down the best service I’ve ever received he made sure my delivery was on time he exceeded my expectations he had the lumber delivered the day before it was scheduled I would recommend martins & Lizandro to any one looking for Hardware or Lumber!!!!!!

Absolutely wonderful people at Martin’s Hardware “Lizandro Cortes” especially~! I didn’t know what I was getting into when it came to building a privacy fence myself. I had so many questions and concerns and Cortes helped walk me through the whole process to insure I was getting the correct things and could build my dream fence! Thank you ? My second visit to Martin’s HL in Porter. A little far from my house but it’s the closest and it’s worth the trip. Martha and Jose super helpful and knowledgeable. Skip the 2 big names and come here.

This place is so unprofessional on a Saturday I went and ordered 18 pads and 18 blocks two whole blocks The following Thursday my contractor went to go pick up my material for me and they did not have all my material they were 11 blocks short so that tells me they sold my blocks and then they turned around and resold them to someone else I was finally to able to get my money back but I would not recommend using this place at all very very unprofessional

Nice people but horribly disorganized. Ordered 2 pieces of sheet metal. Recieved a call a few days later that it had arrived and was ready for pickup. Showed up that day to pickup. They had not received it which means they don't check their deliveries for accuracy before calling a customer and waisting their time and money. Came back the next day when it was finally delivered and they gave me 2 dented up pieces.

Made a special order for some materials, materials are now late. They keep taking the date further and further, ordered on a Monday and they would have it by that Friday, now they are saying it can take MONTHS. They already messed up and it’s not my problem but they are making it my problem. Already paid and it’s non refundable, I ask for the manager and they scramble around, apparently they man who made the order was fired for giving me a low quote. I didn’t lowball and AGAIN, That’s not my problem. Very unorganized place, not worth spending your money there. They offered me a refund on a non refundable order so it goes to show you they messed up. Don’t come here. Plenty of other good places out there. The manager MARTHA admitted she had incompetent workers. The salesman’s name was MARCOS.

A lot cheaper than most hardware stores and they're very polite and courteous and I just absolutely loved it I'll go there all the time
