Went in for a perm at 10:00am and I didn’t leave the salon until 3:30pm. Medium length hair and I get perms every couple of years. It was obvious the young lady didn’t have much experience. The perm was very loose, barely a wave (I asked for tight curl). She also didn’t finish cutting my hair as I had to leave at that point so nothing on the top was even touched and she barely cut anything else (I asked for layers). I did get a partial refund but it should have been a full refund. I was offered a free haircut but couldn’t be done for 2 1/2 weeks. I won’t be back. I went here after reading all of the wonderful reviews but this was my honest experience.I went to this salon once before and that was for a haircut, which was fine. The second time was for the perm which you have to admit is insane to sit there for 5 1/2 hours and then for it not to even turn out plus only a partial haircut because at that point I had to leave to pick up my son from school so she decided to just stop without finishing. (I told her I had to leave in the next 10 minutes to get my son). A full refund should have be given - I did get a partial refund which was for the perm, I still ended up paying $50 or so for a partial haircut and a perm that was barely a wave and as far as the free haircut goes, if I was the owner I would squeeze in that haircut as soon as possible because of what my customer already experienced at my salon, even if it meant going in a little earlier or staying a little later instead of just saying I can’t get you in for close to 3 weeks. I felt like the owner was very defensive of her salon and her “near perfect reviews” more so than keeping a customer. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I went in for a spiral perm, I have medium length hair. My appt was at 10:00am and I kid you not, I did not leave there until 3:30pm. The perm was supposed to be a good spiral curl and it came out very loose plus she didn’t cut anything off the top afterwards and did not give me the layers I asked for, just some trimming along the bottom. I felt like this person must be a student. $150 also. I did make a complaint and asked for a refund which I did get a partial refund and I was offered a free haircut on a different day of my choosing. I feel I should have gotten a full refund first of all. I called to make an appt for that free haircut and I was told she didn’t have any openings for 2 1/2 weeks. I wasn’t going to make a review but this whole experience was just awful. If I owned this salon I would get that person in for that haircut right away, I would make time if I had too as the client already sat in my salon for over 5 hours just to have her hair not turn out or get a haircut after the perm. I would try to retain my customers. I asked for a tight curl and got a very loose wave. I asked for layers, lots of layering and I didn’t get that either. So 1 star it is and I am not going to go back.

I went here for a spiral perm and wanted a good tight curl. My appointment was at 10:00am and I didn't leave this salon until 3:30pm - no joke. My hair is medium length and I have never had an issue with getting a good perm. The girl doing my hair was young and seemed like she was new and not experienced as everything she did took forever. I was patient hoping this would be a great perm. I also told her I wanted layers in my hair as well. After the rods were removed I noticed the curl seemed very loose. She barely cut any hair at all and when I mentioned to her that I had to leave in 10 min to get my son from school, she magically was done cutting even though she never did any layers and nothing touched on top. $150 and I was told she gave me a 25% discount. Waste of time and waste of money. My hair didn't look much different from before the "perm". I did call the owner and asked for a refund, she was defensive but did offer a partial refund as well as a future free haircut from her but I honestly have no desire to return to that salon. I believe she should have given me a full refund as well.

I came in for a quick cut because my previous hairstylist from Byalage in corpus did a horrible job on my hair and Kristie cut my hair and she was amazing. She didn’t take too much off but took the terrible layers out and styles my hair. Definitely will be coming back to get color done .Service: Haircut

Could not get a response but continued to post on social media… as a customer willing to pay I find that extremely insulting. I don’t waste your time; don’t waste mine. Outside of being unprofessional, the quality and work is great.

Bridgette is an amazing stylist! A true professional with hair. I‘ve always gone to a salon in Corpus Christi but decided to try this place out since they are closer to where I live.
Luckily when I called Bridgette was able to take on my appointment the very next day. She did an exceptional well job cutting and styling my hair. If you need a cut, extensions, color, or any hair treatment Bridgette is your girl. I’m so glad I found this gem of a salon in Portland.
