We have been asking for the washer and dryer to be accommodated for a month and we have had no response. I do not recommend that you rent here, the apartments are very neglected

The new manager, Ashley, and Sabrina (who’s always taken care of me) both showed me the greatest acts of kindness when I needed to move, FAST.They pulled all strings and had me moving in within 8 hours.Anytime I make a request, it’s granted and seen through. No complex is perfect, but these ladies here try their darndest. I am eternally grateful to them and their efforts and will continue to be loyal to them due to that.

Since I have moved into these Apartments, the staff has been awesome to me and my family. Any help that I needed with my Apartment they are right there. They don't care if I call a 100 times a day. They still listen. Me and my family are very happy to be here.

Should be NEGATIVE STARS. I and everyone else that lives here, HATE it. If you see a review that has more than one star, it's the management trying to up the star value because this place is straight up TRASH. MOLD, ROACHES, MICE. We're the first main problems, everyone in my family was sick and they didn't care as long as they got their money. They flooded My apartment trying to fix a leak I complained about for months which ruined our entertainment speakers. My husband woke up with roaches ON him. In our bed. That's how gross it is. When we watch TV, roaches would be crawling on the screen. The mice. They get into everything. We have had clothes ruined, holes have been chewed through the walls. Don't get me started on food, what the mice haven't got into the roaches have. Our door got knocked in and management asked our neighbors if we fought alot. Didn't even ask me or my husband. Didn't ask if anything was stolen, just assumed we did it? They will rent to anyone. Kids stay out and about all night long. They will scream so no one gets good sleep. They moved us to a new unit. It flooded the first night of moving. And where they "fixed" it is starting to leak again, I'm sure we will have visible mold here too. Also they just let dangerous dogs here. They have almost attacked me and my children. So if you think your kids will be safe even on your patio, your wrong. People drive super fast. They peel out all hours, they don't stop at any stop signs. I had to drop everything one afternoon and run out to the road to save my neighbors grand kid. Because not one but TWO vehicles were going fast and not paying attention. Neither slowed down. One even honked when I yanked her out of the way. It's just nasty here. We applied for a rent house and the management refused to fill out a rental history form sent to them. They said they could only do it if we gave them a termination notice and If we did that then we would no longer be able to be eligible to move into a different unit. So basically if we didn't get approved at the house we would have to stay in the same moldy, roach and mouse infested apartment. I can't stress to you enough. DONT move here. We could use our microwave because every time you opened it roaches would be crawling everywhere or would be on the food. I cleaned, bleached, moped, swept, vacuumed everyday. We even got a handheld vacuumed and kept it by us so we could get the roaches as they crawled by. Not to mention you will have a 200$ water bill. Some peoples are even higher than ours. It's outdated. Paint peels off everything, all the counters have plywood. And are rotting everywhere. Dishwasher has to be started 4 times to actually work and then it gets so hot it melts stuff. We pay extra for washer and dryer. Which Is fine cause I hate going to the laundry mat with 3 kids under 6. You will never feel clean, your issues won't be fixed quickly, and it will NOT be done right. They will leave holes in your walls. Honestly this place is a joke. It's time code enforcement and lawyers get involved. It should be illegal to make people stay in a place that should be condemned. I'll add pictures of some of the nasty things we have encountered.

In order to leave a review you have to leave at least 1 star. I would be giving them negative stars if I could.TLDR DO NOT RENT HERE THEY ARE AWFUL DIRTY ROACH INFESTEDFrom the day I signed I knew I made a mistake. But thought I could survive it for a year. I WAS WRONG1st the apartment was NOT clean when I moved in. There was dirt, grime, mildew, empty food boxes. I spent an entire day cleaning it before even bringing any of my stuff.I was unfamiliar with roach infestation prior to my move in and missed signs of infestation the day of move in. I requested several time for pest control to come. They came 1x during my residence here, and did not do anything but spray in a few spots.Within 30 days there was a massive flood from a blocked drain pipe outside my apartment in the entire downstairs of my townhome. Water at least an inch thick covering the majority of the downstairs. Maintenance was aware and uncaring left it that way for several days. My child and I had to live with sewage water.Within a few months a 2nd water back up. And again covered the downstairs. The final straw was the air conditioner condenser leaking buckets of water ever single day into the apartment. Started in August. Complex was notified. They pretended to fix it. But did not in fact fix anything. Within a week water again leaking all over my living room. Notified again. Same repair that previously didn’t fix the problem attempted again. But this time there was no correction of the issue. The water continued to leak. The complex was notified of the ongoing issue that same day and 0 contact, or effort to correct.Of course water draws bugs, and creates mold. The roaches who were never properly delt with really began to multiply due to the constant water source. And despite my efforts to keep them at bay.I of course kept meticulous records of all water leaks evidence of the growing roach population, receipts for my efforts to control and prevent damage from the water. And properly notified the complex of my termination of the contract pursuant to the Texas property code. They are still trying to charge me and claim I skipped out on my lease. Unfortunately for them that’s not accurate and I did no such thing. I won’t be recommending this place and TELL everyone what a horrible complex this is.I have photos of the day I moved in and all of the problems I experienced. I even have videos of the water leaking, timestamped photos from bucket full to bucket full of water I collected to try to prevent damage. Photos of the dead roaches, and photos of the mold that had started to grow in the drywall due to their failure to repair the leak. I won’t be paying a cent of their claimed “move out charges” and will be filing suit for the failure to return my security deposit, and 1 day of prorated rent if not given back to me within the 30 days as required by the Texas property code.Do NOT RENT HERE.

This place is possibly one of the worst apartments you could ever live in Portland Texas the staff will NOT help you and if you complain for anything they take it as a personal attack and won’t send help to fix all the multiple things wrong in these Apts there are rats that get in from the outside and when you call maintenance to fix the holes they will never come and you will be forced to either buy a bunch of traps or fill them yourself (ALL THE PHOTOS IVE POSTED HAVE BEEN COMPLAINED OR ASKED TO FIX A LONG TIME AGO) I’ve talked to many neighbors with the same issues from water to roaches to rats to no help from the staff here honestly coming from corpus this place are is actually worse then most places over there and that’s sad honestly I thought Portland was better came over here for the same conditions DO NOT LEASE HERE I REPEAT DO NOT LEASE HERE !!! (And yes I’ve left multiple calls emails and texts )

Bridge pointe is an older place, but an affordable place, that’s why most rent here let’s just be honest. Office staff and maintenance are helpful and do the best they can. Joe and Sabrina have always been the most pleasant to work with, especially Sabrina always willing to help me when there wasn’t a manager. They are the only people I’ve ever really seen in office all the time and make me feel comfortable living at a place I chose to live at.

I would rate it a zero star but unfortunately you have to rate it a star at least to leave a review. The worst place to live. They take forever to get things done and don’t follow up with you when they say they are going to. Sabrina has a bad attitude, she tells you that she’s in the office if you have a problem with her to stop by and then she hangs up on you while you’re talking and when you go to the office and tell her to give you attitude in person she threatens you with “you’re breaching your contract” and that’s because I didn’t use profanity. So basically you can’t complain and to top it off she’s just in the office on her phone. As soon as you go in she puts her phone away but can’t submit a work order. Even though recorded calls don’t hold up in court I have all the recordings about me being frustrated and I do tell them I’m going to talk to corporate about the issues I’ve been having but Sabrina just gives attitude and hangs up. I also have pictures and videos of things I’ve called about that need to be fixed including roaches all over the place. Before they post to call or stop by the office to talk to someone I’m not going to do it because I’ve talked to people and nothing gets done all I get it’s threaten with the I’m breaching the contract and also it’s like corporate is ok with her giving attitude to tenants that are frustrated because nothing gets done.
