The front desk staff was very kind and courteous. This is a newer property with a nice clean and new lobby and common areas. Unfortunately, that didn't carry over to my room. I immediately walked into my kitchenette, and the entire floor was sticky like it was mopped with maple syrup. The room also had a very noticeable moldy damp smell. I was hoping I would get used to it, but I didn't. The bathroom sink also had a rotten smell whenever I turned on the water which made brushing my teeth unpleasant. The carpeting was so filthy that it turned my brand new white socks black within an hour. This could be a very nice place with proper maintenance and cleaning. It's a shame to see a new place get this dirty so quickly.

The room was disgustingly damp and smelled of mildew. The carpets and bedding just felt moist. The stench everytime we came back to the room was so gross. There was also a terrible smell coming from the bathroom sink drain that would come up whenever you turned the water on. The lobby and gym was nice. Breakfast bar was well stocked and clean. Tables needed some wiping, but not terrible. The workers were pleasant enough. Just the room.

The front desk employee that checked us in was DRUNK and we had to assist him with the check in. I don't know his name, but he was an older man, working the night shift.We arrived at 2 AM and it took one hour to check in. By the time we were in the room, it was 3 AM. It seemed like the employee had not been given sufficient training to do his job, despite him telling us that he had been working there for over a month.The employee showed us his screen because he could not find the reservation. We found the reservation for him, but turns out he still could not check us in. He did not even know how to take the card for incidentals. That led to us spending a whole lot of time trying to figure out how to get ourselves checked in. We were able to help him due to previous hotel experience.While helping him check us in, I smelled alcohol on his breath. This explained some of his behavior. When I questioned him whether he had been drinking, his response was that he had been earlier in the day. But, based on his behavior, I find it hard to believe that it was only earlier in the day.This is a ridiculous situation for a customer to experience. Had it not been the middle of the night, I would have found another hotel instead of going through this experience.This also raises a big flag for privacy. We were able to see current guests and future guests' personal information, including parts of their credit cards, while we were helping him check us in. He was also entering the password for the hotel's software right in front of us. This is a very big privacy failure on the hotel's part.This drunk and incompetent employee should be fired immediately.

Much newer hotel, clean, and friendly service.Rooms: Large clean rooms with plenty of furnishings and a full kitchen.Nearby activities: USS Lexington is a few minutes drive towards town. Some road construction but usually not a problem.Food & drinks: Great social hour Monday -Wednesday. Multiple bottled beer choices and spirits. Fairy decent snack bar with hot food is on offer.Noteworthy details: Pool is open, large parking lot, fast elevators, friendly staff and convenient Walmart and HEB grocery stores close by.

Great for a longer stay. Clean, comfortable. Friendly staff, very helpful. Room cleans are twice a week, but they only leave one coffee ?♂️ More is available by asking. Nice swimming pool and BBQ area. Not sure about the gas flame feature burning 24/7.Air conditioning needs an upgrade (loud and not quite enough for the room with curtains closed.

Food would run out 30 minutes into the evening social. Hotel can’t seem to plan properly as this happened multiple days in a row. Normally I wouldn’t complain but seeing as this hotel was more expensive than others in the area, it is one of the reasons I chose it.Also did not have room service.

Fabulous place to stay! We enjoyed the room, which was spacious and stocked with kitchen utensils so we could avoid pricey meals. Our kids loved the beautiful pool, we loved the relaxing chairs and deck. The employees were hospitable and helpful. Breakfast buffet could use improvements but I won’t dock the review for that. Covid has made everything a little different. It was still delicious! We will stay again when we come back to Corpus!

The hotel is nice , the room is big enough for a family to stay. The bed is nice.the only problem the staff is not friendly and they look like having a bad everyday. We were stay for 5days in the hotel. I do not see the staff great the customer and smiling. No hospitality at all.And when we went for bfast in our third day staying there, the young lady bfast attended already start doing cleaning and close the kitchen by 8.20am. No refills to the bfast meals. Because she was busy doing cleaning inside the kitchen for closing.The only staff that really nice, there is a older white lady. She is so kind and always smiling and great the customers whenever we came down for bfast. She is such a sweet lady ❤️.And when I ask them to clean my room on four days, the guess service said I have to stay at least 7days of my stay. Which is not MAKE SENSE!!The staff need more training how to deal with customers.And the things make this hotel difference is they do have happy hours from 5.30pm-7.30pm they serve some food and non alcohol and alcohol drink For FREE.Overall the hotel is clean and very convenient.

Unfortunately, our stay here was not what was expected. First, the entry doors were not working upon arrival 3:30pm then again at 12:30am. The first room assigned to us rm 416, was warm and felt like the AC was not cooling. The front desk attendant went up to the room and said it was working but would need 10-15 minutes to cool. We went back up and as we walked into the bathroom, found a dead roach on the floor. Next we were assigned to rm 211. It was definitely cooler in that room. We wanted a quick snack and saw the hotel provided popcorn. We were about to throw it in the microwave and noticed it was expired 4/22. We left shortly afterwards and returned after midnight. Ready to take a shower and relax, we grabbed towels from the shelf by the bathroom sink and some dust bunnies decided to come along. Our bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful. Next morning we had a late start 9:30am, went down to grab some breakfast but all the warm items were out (eggs, bacon, potatoes and unknown 4th item). We asked the breakfast attendant if more food could be put out, she said yes but her body language said she was bothered. Next, we tried to get waffles but the waffle mix was watery. We asked if it was possible to change out the mix but the same breakfast attendant told us it would take too long. Finally, at 11am, we called guest services from the room phone and explained we were running late. They agreed to let us leave by 11:30am. Housekeeping came by at 11:05 and we explained we were still in the room. Shortly afterwards, we received a phone call from someone who said check out was at 11am and you are still in the room. We explained our conversation with guest services and the individual said okay we will let housekeeping know. Overall, our stay was not what we expected from a StayBridge hotel.
