Took my dress to get hemmed here. It took over two weeks and $80, and you know what? They did the worst hemming I've ever seen. The stitching was coming apart and in one area it was as if they didn't sew there and skipped it completely. Avoid this place at all cost!

I was looking for high pressure hose fittings and they helped me find all three fittings that worked with my existing quick connect! Greeted when walking in and helped immediately.

Brought in a formal dress to have it hemmed a few inches. It touched the ground when I had my heels on. My dress has no beading, lace, or anything else that would make it difficult to hem. I was promised a certain date and it was ready 2 days in advance. I didn’t ask for a rushed time or anything like that. I wasn’t told of a price beforehand. When I picked it up it was $75 plus tax, plus a fee because I used a card. Came out to $84!!! More than I paid for the dress. Ridiculous. If I was told how much it would be beforehand, I would have taken it somewhere else.

I took my wedding dress in for alterations on July 28th. I was told they were on about a two month wait list, no big deal. One week shy of the two month mark I called and asked if we were still on that timeline and they confirmed they were. Three weeks after the two month mark I called and inquired again and was told the seamstress was out on vacation and would be for the next ten days and my dress was not ready yet. I called after the she was back from vacation (at this point just shy of the 3 month mark - October 22nd) and was told they had started to work on my dress. I respectfully requested that it be done by November 1st as that was well over the time frame we agreed to in the beginning, I was told it would “most likely” be done by then. Today, November 2nd, I called and was really hoping to hear that my dress was at least close to done… that was not the case. I was AGAIN given the run around about how complicated it was and how I had to wait my turn. When I asked if they could have it done by the end of the week they told me to “just come get it” as she didn’t want to work on it anymore. This woman wouldn’t even hear me out that I had been waiting so long. Didn’t care how close my wedding day is. She was completely heartless and I was in tears when I came in to get my dress without the seamstress even coming out to say anything. The most aggravating part is that in over three months that they had my dress in their possession they had done maybe half an hour worth of work to it (seam ripped about 12 inches of stitching). I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. I’ll even be calling the other seamstress who had too much work to take me on and recommended them to advise that she stop doing so. What an absolutely waste of my time, energy and gas to take my dress here. Will never step foot in here again.

This place has a little something for everyone. Debbie is kind and generous. My daughter loves to see what the ladies are sewing. She brings me to this store whenever she has a chance.

Very pricey, for a 150 dollar dress paid 112 dollars, for hemming and tightening of shoulder strap.Same dress which another place offered 60 dollar for alterations but decided to use the local store and ended up over paying. She did nt provide the cost of service prior to the service otherwise I would given it in corpus christi.

Drop off my daughters wedding dress to be hemmed. Reasonably priced in a timely manner with good quality work.

I asked for a costume to be hemmed by Saturday. Same as below. Overcharged! $30 for a single line across a cape. Then was messaged by the seem-tress that she takes tips The costume cost $36 total. Debbie wasn’t very friendly. My friend arrived at the other place at 4pm today. Paid $20 and was done in 30 mins and out the door. The design didn’t even line up. GO ElSEWHERE!! There is a reason why there is the same reviews over and over!

Very happy with Ms Debbie at the Sewing Ladies. Old Town Furniture that's next door was especially nice too.

Well I'm extremely disappointed. I took my wedding dress here for some minor alterations. Alterations which I suggested, but as a "Professional Seamstress" she should have known that it would have caused more problems with the dress, she never called me in for a fitting before final alterations were made, which could have avoided a lot of error. She had my dress for three months. And now with a month til my wedding, I've had to find another seamstress to fix the mess she made.. which includes chopping off some the applique, also she cut about inches from around my shoulders that allows me to NOT BE ABLE LIFT MY ARMS UP. I'm not even going to be able to dance with my husband at this point! When tried to discuss with her about the issues and that I had to take the dress somewhere else... she said " I don't know what to tell you". In my opinion his lady does not know what she is doing. She will tell you that she make whatever alteration you want , whether or not it's doable.
