If you're a thrifter, this is the kind of story you love to go to again and again because it's always a positive experience. Even some of the medium-sized, cause based stores (like the Purple place) don't check out everything they're selling you and they don't give refunds!
Bonus, American thrift is located right next door to the Fruit King!!!

“I’ve been an avid thrifter my whole life. Hi Again Resale is one of my favorite stores. Very well organized, clean, no overwhelming piles of stuff, but still has a good selection. The baby section and the housewares are the best in my opinion. Not a huge selection of clothing, but decent and inventory rotates so I always find something. Oh and they do have changing rooms, which I’ve noticed many resale stores lack!.
Prices are good. I do find some items overpriced, but they always have huge sales so it evens out.
I love that the employees are Mammas who are able to bring their babies in with them. ?”

“I had a very sweet experience with one of the volunteers at this shop. once I told Susanna that I was looking for a white dress, she went above and beyond for me and even found two dresses for me to try on. I left with a beautiful wedding dress for only $25! I also found the shoes for $12! I was extremely happy, and really appreciated Susanna’s help.”
“I like the fact that what I can not use nor need anymore can be sold and that money is used to buy much needed building materials to build houses for families that need a house. It's the least I can do as I am on a fixed income and can not donate cash”
“We've been to several Goodwill bins in different states, and visited the Corpus Christi branch on a Saturday afternoon. Clothing is $1.69 per pound compared to $2.49 in Houston. It was mostly clothes, with barely any shoes, and it was a little minimal on hard goods. Could've just been the day though.
A lot of items had tags from being on the racks, which means it's the leftovers rather than fresh unsorted inventory. Overall we had an ok haul, not the greatest.
The customers at this bins were very casual and non-aggressive compared to others we've been to, which makes it easier to get a good spot. Shopping carts were also easier to come by than at other locations.
One thing I really didn't like about this location is how they make everyone stand behind a line while they change out a row of bins. You have to stop shopping and just wait for 10 minutes every time. Doesn't matter if you're on the opposite end of the store. Most stores let you browse as long as you're not near the row they're changing out, which seems more reasonable.”
“I used to be homeless with my three boys in this place help me so much they got me on the right path and I found work an apartment no it's finally able to have a place to call my own. I did go to college and have a bachelor's degree I was working from home making good money but I have applied for disability and I'm really struggling right now with Bill and I wanted to ask a question can I go and have breakfast even if I have a place to stay but lack the food that I need, for me and my disabled son so can we or are we welcomed to have a breakfast with my son who on disability. The answers yes can you please tell me what time breakfast is served and what time I would have to be there thank you so much God bless you”
“Best 2nd hand clothing store in Corpus. Only garage sales offer lower prices. They are very good about attaching correct size on the items I've bought in the past. This is my go-to place for casual and work wear.”
“Cashiers work very hard. Especially on half off Saturday. Other employees are great putting clothes and other items on shelves. Shoes should be priced not all to high. Some are in bad very bad shape. Things are alot cleaner then before.”

“Music CD's are a little on the expensive side compared to other Goodwills where they are 1.49 -2.49 and they sell a lot more. Clothing is generally priced as other Goodwills. Some things in wares cups, glasses, plastic ware,etc Dollar Tree has it at 1.25 Goodwill sells exact items for 3.49- 4.49. The store is very clean.”
