Well...first off, we needed a box of tissues so found that got in line. There was one lady with about 15 items and coupons in front of us. No biggie. We were standing in line for almost 5 minutes. Before that , we tried to checkout at one of the other 2 machines not being used. There were two employees. A young white lady who was very talkative and very nice. She seemed like she was the one with the education. The other sourpuss face that looked like she hated life told us that one doesn't work. Great customer service right off the bat (Sarcasm detected). So, we smile oh ok sorry. Whole time she stands there watching the young lady work. When the lady checking out was waiting for the last item to scan. A white couple walks up behind us. Then Debbie Downer proceeds to go up to the register we were just told was broke and then asks the younger lady, is this one cash or card only? Really? I thought racism died out with inbreeding but apparently not. Apparently, racism is still alive in Post, TX. I know its a dollar general, but if you are going to be around other people with a slight darker tone than you, maybe you should work with solid waste for the city. You would be perfect working with trash all day! My two cents.

Traveling through this little town and thought I would get a bag of ice and some snacks. The ice machine doesn’t work, doesn’t look like it’s worked in a while. Went inside to grab a monster and spicy chicharrones, got to the self check out… not working. Noticed a line of customers that had been waiting on a person to check them out. I saw 3 employees come out of the back at the same time, leaving the front unattended. I just left my stuff and walked out. I haven’t been to a store in a while that has adequate customer service.

Visited store while driving through from Arizona. The cashier was on her personal call while there was a line. She refused to open another lane. We complained and she told us there are other stores in the area. Ms Erica u acted like you weren't in the wrong. Shame on you.

I think this place needs to rethink their name because nothing is a dollar it's generally about a dollar or two but definitely not Dollar General it's probably a regular if something is a dollar however name brand stuff at a great price can't go wrong I loaded up my car and took a trip to the Rio Grande
