American Legion Post 231

Hours: American Legion Post 231 is a veterans organization that offers a variety of activities and services. Located near Lake Texoma, the post features a full-service bar for members and their guests, as well as affordable food options. Tacos are available every Tuesday from 6-7pm, dinners are served every Friday during the same time, and a breakfast buffet is offered every Sunday from 10-11am for $6. On the second Saturday of each month, the post hosts a steak night with music entertainment following. The post also features an RV camp site with 30 and 50 amp sites that include water, but no sewer hookups. As of March 26, 2024, sites rent for $20 per day for members of Post 231 and $25 per day for non-members. Reservations are not accepted for the camp sites. The American Legion Post 231 is known for its strong community and friendly atmosphere, with many members and guests praising the views of the lake and the affordable prices. The post recently started accepting credit card payments at the bar and is building a beer garden. The post hosts various events throughout the year, with the largest being the Rajun Cajun event over Memorial Day weekend.
