Good selection, good meat selection, prices seem a little high overall but a nice full scale grocery store close to Lake Texoma.

I love shopping at our local Brookshire’s. It’s handy and always clean. I would make one suggestion. They need to train the checkers and baggers on how to bag groceries. You do not place canned goods with veggies and you certainly should not place raw meat with items like lettuce, or anything you will not be cooking. Common sense!!

Shocked to find that sometimes the deli is closed due to “no one knowing how to cut” apparently managers don’t even know and they won’t put a sign up

I really appreciate the kindness and how hard you are all working through this Coronavirus crisis. i see how extraordinarily busy the store is at all times and I know you are all working non-stop to continue providing the best service possible. You guys at the Pottsboro store are awesome.

Thank you Brookshire’s for being kind and getting us in and out of the store No panic. Limiting supplies No toilet paper, just Kleenex. That works the same The bigger cities will come in m and try to empty our small markets The people here are smart and kind

The quality of this store really has gone downhill. As a former employee it makes me sad to see that. The fruit is not fresh the bathrooms are covered with toilet paper and they bagged my groceries with heavy and light things in the same bag. They offered no carryout and the managers were standing close by. My child was with me and I could have used the help. Custmer service is definately not a top priority.

2 issues... many times I've experienced perishable products that should be in the garbage on the shelf. I get annoyed when baggers place to many heavy items in one bag and when bringing them into the house it breaks and if I'm lucky only one glass item breaks through a new hole in the bag and hits my cement garage floor... I should not have to police this situation!!!

First let me say, I am SO HAPPY to have a real grocery store in Pottsboro instead of just the closest Walmart. And I want to love this Brookshires, but I have just experienced my second annoyance in 6mos having to do with how they police freshness and food safety. The first episode had to do with WAY expired eggs. Now, I buy a packaged veggie item (for $4.99!), bring it home, and discover when looking at the receipt that there is a warning I "may have purchased " a food item recalled due to LISTERIA found in packaging within that timeframe. Urges consumer to discard or return for refund. Obviously, as the item was scanned at the cash register the warning was triggered. Now my question is, WHY DIDN'T THEY PULL THESE ITEMS FROM THE SHELVES IN THE FIRST PLACE????? You can be sure they were similarly scanned as inventory at some point before being stocked on store shelves. Instead, they put the risk on the shoulders of the consumer and require them to actually read their receipt, which does not happen in at least 90% of the time for most people. I happened to this time because I was looking for gas points info. Even then, the warning was in another part of the receipt and I could very easily have missed it and consumed this item. I will be returning to store, a hassle that could have been prevented, but hey, at least I'm not going to the local ER! BROOKSHIRES, you need to do better!

Clean store good produce and meat, but recently they recently they rolled out a new program claiming lower prices all through the store. But several items price went up not down. Also the point's for gas discount has changed, now the most you can use at a time is 1000 and if you spend less than 25 you get NO points. The new manager looks to be an improvement over previous manager. Now if then get rid of of the evil J in the deli that will be great. My last couple bills were higher than before the low price campaign. Some of the great cashier's like Morgan who is always super friendly and helpful make up for the higher prices.
