Ordered an item for curbside pickup. Dud this as I was recovering from a medical issue. I arrived at the store and parked in curbside. Called the store 6 times. The curbside notification option nobody ever answered. So I went into the store and found the pick up counter. Waited there for 5 minutes. No one ever showed up. So I walked to some registers. Told someone I had a curbside pick up. They finished with a customer and then had to follow them back to the first pick-up counter I waited at before. Got my item and left.
Will not be ordering or shopping here anymore. I will go back to Academy for now on. Always good service from Academy never had any issues like this.

Clean, organized store. Pretty easy to find stuff. Like items are together and make sense. Lots of fancy Stanley brand drinkware! A good amount of kids sports things. Fishing supplies of all kinds. Employees available to try to help you. Self check and regular cashiers. Huge parking lot.

Simmons is the man, thanks for the help on the softball bat. Asked if I needed help and was very knowledgeable.

Great selection but shoes are almost always out of common sizes. The new manager is probably one of the best I’ve ever seen and is definitely turning it around.

What a disappointment that they closed the Field and Stream portion of this store. Someone at corporate decided that hunting was wrong (but fishing is ok) and gutted this store down to everything made by Nike and every water bottle ever made. I had a $50 dollar gift card that someone gave me and I spent an hour wandering around trying to find ANYTHING worth spending it on.

At the prosper location today, Xander was our bike specialist. He was so kind and personable! He helped us right away and did a really great job at assisting us. He went above and beyond to ensure the problem was solved. Customer service was top-notch. Keep up the great service! We appreciate you. - Randy & Juliet

Purchased some grips for my golf clubs. They charged 3.99/club to put them on. PGA superstore will put them on for free if purchased from them. Entire store is overpriced!

Shoe department. Two employees standing together ignoring everyone around them. Not busy either. If you know what you want, you know more than them.

Same as it always is.
Close by, but rarely actually has what I want.
At least it's close by.
EDIT:
From three stars to one.
Okay. Now they don't carry ammunition. The fact they are close by is completely irrelevant now.
Taking up space that could be better utilized by a different business all together.

Asked for help and three older male employees would just look at us. Not offer help. Just look and pretend to be working. Asked for help again and the old guys just looked at us pretending to work.

Decent service today (Sat at 5 pm), but this is the most dusty store. Clothing items folded nicely, but don't accidentally drag anything to the fitting room because you will collect all the dust on your item. Before you get to the dressing room, take Benadryl or the dust bunnies that are ALL OVER THE FLOOR will attack you and make you not even want to try anything on! Management: swiffers, brooms, and cheap vacuums are right next door at Wally world.

Selection is great, it's a huge store. For a Saturday afternoon though, they seemed short handed especially in the footwear department. I asked an employee if he could help with some shoes, but he couldn't because he worked in a different department. He could have offered to find me some help though. When I did get some help, the kid scanned the display shoe to tell me if they had the shoe or not. After the first two I asked for were out of size 10, he then directed me to the small tablet mounted in the shoe department and said I could browse that to see what was available in my size. Before he could say anything else I gave him two more to check, which were available. He was helping me and another girl. Are two customers that difficult to handle to offer full service? Are my request too much of an inconvenience to where I need to find the availability myself. The store is just short of letting me go to the stockroom to find the shoe myself. Only reason I went there was because of the selection. If academy had my size in the style I wanted the previous night which was down the street, which is expectedly self service I would have bought from them.

I bought some items online that were too big. They don’t have an option for returns by mail. At least not that easy to find. But they do offer curbside returns according to their website. I have four small kids and taking them into stores is a nightmare. So u decided to do curbside. As instructed I parked in the curbside spots and called the store upon arrival. The very rude person who answered told me I have to bring the items into the store. When I mentioned the website states you do curbside returns, she didn’t say anything. So I hung up. When I dragged my kids into the store, stood in line for the return it was my lucky day. The same rude person who answered the phone was now helping me at the register. Her entire demeanor was so rude. I will not be returning.
