In case Kroger closing at 11 wasn't bad enough, they won't let you in 30 min before close. Just go to another Kroger location at this point.

I usually have to bag my own groceries here, even when I donāt go through the self-checkout. And because of various personal reasons, I often only get out to shop every 2-3 weeks. So today I had a full cart. I bagged over 1/2 my stuff myself because they didnāt have a bagger. Then another checker came to help. But I had to sit as listen to them moan about my amount of groceries the entire time. Really? As I walked off, I heard the girl who checked me out exclaim, āI mean, WHY!!!?ā
Iām sorry - was there something else she needed to be doing at the moment? Krogers needs to teach their employees a little empathy, or at least to know when to keep their mouths zipped. You donāt know who has health issues, you donāt know who has foster kids, and you donāt know whose spouse travels for a living. Honestly, if it wasnāt for the fuel points, Iād never come back here again after what I experienced today. In addition, I just got home and realized the bacon I purchased was well out-of-date.

Unfortunately I cannot trust Kroger store anymore. Apparently they are spraying chemicals on all our vegetables with ProduceMaxx and or Sterilox, these chemicals kill living organisms, so what are we? This is unacceptable because we pay good money to try to be healthy. At least put a disclaimer saying your vegetables are being chemically sprayed! and then let us decide if we want to buy it or not!

This is an item that we purchase on a weekly basis. Last night while I was eating a muffin I found a piece of glass baked inside. Mind my son had already ate consumed one.
Contacted Kroger costumer service, they offered me a $5 refund while the manager on duty did not seem very concerned about the issue. All he had to say was they are not baked in store. Instead of, is anyone hurt?

Really upset with the cake we ordered for our sons birthday.
Lot of pictures from the cake book are not available to order. We finalized the one which is available and asked them about the color change on the border.
The baker Gilda was assisting us and took the notes.
But when we went for the pick up just before our birthday party, the design on the cake was lot smaller than the original picture shown in the book.
They just filled the sides with white spaces and had a small picture in the middle.
Really very upset with the cake and when we asked the baker about it she just replied saying āi thought you guys already knew about itā.
Very bad experience.

The Kroger Store is good but their App become worst now. For coupons we need to find and select the item and then select digital coupon while earlier it was so easy.
Also The prosper store customer care people take 15-20 minutes to sort out a single item with the coupon discount etc.
No wonder why HEB is growing in North Texas now !

I enjoy going to this Kroger because of a few select employees that always are so friendly & take the time to say hello & ask how I am doing. One in particular is Jane, I am a late night shopper & I always enjoy talking to Jane while I am checking out. She is so helpful & knowledgeable. Kroger, she is an asset to your business & should be promoted! Sometimes customers are very rude at the checkout (I have personally witnessed this) & more or less verbally attack your associates. Particularly the night crew because they have to communicate over the intercom (per their leadership) starting at midnight the store will begin closing & to ensure the customers allow enough time to checkout their groceries before the system shuts down at 1am. The problem the night crew continually deals with is backlash from customers arguing that is not fair since the store claims to close at 1am therefore should allow time beyond 1am to complete checkout.
This is not your staff's fault it is a corporate decision to rush customers out of the store & to leave them without proper support to field complaints that late at night. There have literally been customers in the middle of checking out that could not pay for their purchase because of the system shutting down, there by loosing revenue for Kroger because often they do not return the next day to complete their purchase.
Regardless, I have learned to checkout on time and while it doesn't impact me I just wanted to take a moment to report how excellent your staff is running the store at night. Special call outs going beyond Jane as well, to the night shift associates Paul & Deborah as well as a super sweet tall and thin Hispanic gentleman who I believe is the stocking supervisor (I think his name is Julio). Last night my Dad's electric cart stopped working. He stopped what he was doing & went and got him another one. Such a kind & thoughtful thing to do & we really appreciated that!
Kroger Prosper, all of these great employees deserve recognition!

The online order and pick up is ABSOLUTLEY GARBAGE! There is ALWAYS a problem fulfilling very simple orders, order cancelled because one product cannot be filled, orders are always late. There is always a poor excuse given by some lazy employees who rather NOT do their job. Horrible service!

Bought jalapeƱo with cream cheese from the meat counter from this Kroger and later after cooking found out these guys have used sour cream instead of cream cheese and it tasted disgusting and sour. Had to throw away everything in the trash.

I bought chicken from their store and requested them to cut into peices ad they have a whole butcher section....the butcher tells me they would cut every meat except chicken....he could give me no reason why....i even offered to pay extra but he refused....seems like a stupid policy to me

TLDR: Roach in the overpriced baked goods I bought, customer service lady told me she didn't believe me and thought it came from my house.
I come to this Kroger a lot but I just recently had a bad experience at customer service. Three days ago I purchased a package of baked goods from the bakery section (for $13!), and today I just realized there was a roach smashed into the packaging. I had never looked too closely at it because I thought it was a brownie or something that had gotten smashed, but no, it was a roach, and I am positive that it was already in the packaging whenever I purchased it, and had probably gotten caught when packaged at whatever factory it was made at. This was bad enough, but I went to their customer service to ask for a refund or exchange and the older blonde lady working there was exceedingly rude. I'll acknowledge I didn't have high hopes that they would be able to help me because the receipt had gotten lost and I threw away the product as soon as I saw the roach, but I know other companies can look up reciepts using the card that was used so I was hoping Kroger could do that for me. First, the customer service lady didn't even acknowledge that I was there even though I was standing at the desk directly in front of her. After being ignored for a few seconds, I said hello and she finally looked up blankly. After I explained the situation, she told me that since I had purchased it 3 days prior she didn't believe that the roach had been in the packaging prior to being purchased and that it had probably come from my house! I fully understand that it may not be possible to process a refund or exchange based on the little information I had, but to tell me right to my face that she thought my house had roaches is insane! I work in customer service myself and even if I couldn't help a customer I would never treat anyone like that.
