Unpopular opinion here…..I went to see Dr. Rubianes for a lipoma above my belly button. The clinic was busy that day and I had to wait 45 minutes. When I saw her, she seemed rushed and quickly examined me and said there was a chance it was a hernia and that she wanted me to visit a surgeon. She said he would do a sonogram to determine whether it was a lipoma or hernia. This surgeon wanted to put me under anesthesia without doing a sonogram for a cost of $4500 out of pocket. I decided to get a 3rd opinion from my old dermatologist in flower mound. He ordered the sonogram and determined it was a lipoma. He cut it out in his office saving me thousands of dollars. 3 different drs and several copays wasted because Dr rubianes didn’t want to do her job. Never again. Buh bye McGuiness dermatology

My appointment was for cosmetics (injectables) with Patricia. I appreciate that she is knowledgeable and takes great pride in her craft. She is up to speed with the newest technology and explains everything she is doing and is careful to keep the look natural.

Posting on behalf of my daughter. She has been a patient for over a year. When she’s having issues, they fit her in and have several doctors and PAs on staff who are excellent. They also have multiple locations and offer once a month Saturday appointments at a few of them. Highly recommend McGuiness Dermatology.

Dr. McGuiness is awesome. Been seeing him for 20 years.One of my favorite doctors overall.However, had to wait over an hour to be seen. Need to get the appointments dialed in.If you require me to be there by a certain time, honor that time. My time is tight as well and we can’t get that time back wasted sitting in the lobby.

Such a great experience for my skin cancer screening. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I was seen promptly and the PA that saw me was personable and knowledgeable. I was done and back on my way home 40 minutes after my appointment time! Highly recommend for your dermatology needs!
