Ran into Michael's after work to order a custom frame. The girl said I had to hurry up because she was scheduled to be off in 10 minutes at 6:00. I picked out what I wanted by five minutes till six she wrote everything down and told me I had to come back another day to place the order because if she goes over her scheduled time, she'll get in trouble. What the heck! The store is scheduled to be open until 9 o'clock. Shouldn't they have that department covered for the last three hours of the day when people are off of work? And an employee should not be afraid to go over her scheduled time if she is in the middle of helping a paying customer.

Came here months ago, well organized and nice modern design. Yelpers, stop giving this place 1 star, this is the best Michael's I've ever been to! I used to have to go to the Frisco location at Eldorado, which I heard that it used to be Staples. If you live near the Frisco location, I would recommend taking the few extra minutes to go to the Prosper one. They are also building a Target at 401 Gates Pkwy right at the other side of the center.

Do yourself a favor, find another location. I really tried to give this location a chance. I've been there around 6 or 7 times in the last 3 months and every time was a bad experience. There are so many issues I can go into and how much money they've cost me, but I'll just say there is zero customer service and the staff is a bunch of kids that could care less. So if you know exactly what you need and it's in stock, go ahead and use self checkout. But if you need anything else at all, go somewhere else.

Beautiful store but HORRIBLE customer service. There is only one person helping at check out. Even when the "needs assistance" button is pushed at the kiosk, no one comes to help. Gift cards don't work at the kiosk and when this is mentioned to the employee she gives attitude and tells me I need to wait for her. Super disappointing.

Beautiful new Michael's craft store! Very clean inside. The young staff all seems very happy and friendly. I really like the one line check out and then the next open register calls for the next customer to check out. Because you know we always pick the wrong line!
