I’ve been a loyal Old Navy customer for years, and it’s always been one of my go-to stores for casual, affordable, and family-friendly clothes. Unfortunately, my most recent visit to the Prosper location at 1041 S Preston Rd was far below what I’ve come to expect from Old Navy.
From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the store was in serious need of attention. Clothes were strewn everywhere — not just a few items here and there, but entire tables and racks were disorganized, piles of shirts and sweaters were on the floor, and several sections looked like they hadn’t been refolded or restocked all day. It honestly made it difficult to even shop, because every size and style was mixed together and out of order.
I completely understand that stores get busy, especially during the holiday season or weekend rushes, but this was beyond the normal “busy store” level of disarray. It just looked neglected. When a store is that unkempt, it not only reflects poorly on the management and staff oversight, but it also makes the shopping experience frustrating for loyal customers who expect Old Navy’s typical standard of neatness and presentation.
I’ve always associated Old Navy with bright, clean layouts, well-organized displays, and a fun, family-oriented atmosphere — but this location felt more like a discount warehouse environment. To be completely honest, I expect to see that kind of mess and clutter at stores like Ross Dress for Less or TJ Maxx, not Old Navy. The whole experience just felt off-brand for what Old Navy usually represents.
That said, I want to be clear: I still love Old Navy as a brand. Their prices, styles, and family-friendly clothing options have always been a win in my book. I’m not writing this review to bash them, but to point out that this particular location seems to have lost a bit of its edge and pride in presentation. I’m hoping that management sees this feedback as constructive and takes action to bring the Prosper store back up to the standards that Old Navy is known for.
I’ll continue to shop at Old Navy — I genuinely enjoy their products and overall vibe — but I’ll probably visit a different location until this one gets back on track. It’s disappointing to see a store with so much potential and such a great location looking this neglected. Hopefully, someone from corporate or local management steps in soon, because this store could easily be one of the best in the area if it were maintained properly.

Nothing like buying your daughter new clothes and going home to wash them and finding this in them when you transfer them to the dryer. My 15 month old could have either had it go into her skin had I not found it/washed the clothes first or even worse, she could have put it in her mouth and swallowed it. Good work Old Navy. Stay safe. 😡

Clean new store with merchandise in stock - there’s always some offers going on - checkout is fast and staff is courteous. The clothings are in stock which is bigger than the Frisco store. The parking is nearby and the store is big. Love the collection of daily clothings in this location of Old Navy.

This store used to be size inclusive. Today I couldn’t find anything over a 16 in women’s, with the majority being 10 or below. Disgusting. When I asked why they didn’t carry their normal sizes, they said every store is different and only carry extra sizes on what the company deemed trendy at that location. They went on to say it depends on the demographics of the area. I guess there aren’t fat people in Prosper, TX.

First time going here, and the cashier was telling me the sign on the wall was an old sign so he could not honor the price. How is that my fault. I was very disappointed and will not go back again or refer anyone

Everything was so scattered and disorganized. This is the first time I've experienced this at an Old Navy.

Great variety but can get pretty chaotic and it doesn’t seem like they can always keep the clothes in the right spot.

Poor shoppers, great service though, for the sale they had tore up the store with clothes on the floor in a bunch of places. I love their jeans though!

Great store, that has really wonderful linen clothes that are made extremely well to keep you cool . It's a breathable natural material light to wear in the summer and perfect to layer throughout the year. This location is very clean & organized with a very nice staff that is knowledgeable and helpful. They have a lot of selection of other types of clothing of fabrics to choose from.
