Horrible service. ……. Scott the manager and the girl on the counter are a disgrace to the name Pet Smart.
I went in there today (10/04/25. 12:15pm) to get a harness for our pup. I had some questions and I went to the girl on the counter at sales. She has no clue about the products sold at Pet Smart or she making any effort to help. As we were looking for other staff members, the manager (Scott) walks into a room behind the sales counters with a beautiful girl from the grooming service and locks up. I waited for 15 - 20 minutes and the guy doesn’t come out.
Now, in a pet store, if you don’t get the help needed, you should be called “Pet Store with unsmart Staff”. I was holding the puppy for 20 minutes and he was getting restless. But no sign of help. I have been in the store quite a few times and there are some good people, but most of the staff are kind of rude and behave like we go there with no choice. Shame on the manager and the sales staff. I go to Hollywood feed and the caring there is day night difference with the store in prosper. I don’t know if this is the culture of Pet Smart or they think they are doing charity to customers. If you cannot be kind to people, you cannot be kind to animals, IMHO.

Groomers were good with my dog. Pleasant, knowledgeable, funny. Going back here for future cuts.
Front desk staff were meh, but nice.

Val has been great these last few times with our new Maltipoo, Teddy Bear. She was extremely attentive and patient with him since he’s still getting used to the grooming process. He looks adorable!

I had a horrible experience both times I walked into the store once for a grooming appointment and once for purchasing something. The employees do not care about me or my dog in either department of the store. I will not be returning.

I had the best experience in grooming today. Kylen groomed my Westie, Bronwyn, and she looks so beautiful. The best groom she’s ever had. I will continue to go back to Kylen! Thank you so much Prosper PetSmart grooming. I’m so very pleased! Kylen you are just so talented! Thank you again!

After giving this place more than a year to get it together, they just keep getting worse. Their fish department needs to be overhauled. I was in this week, and they have sick fish in many tanks, signs up that they can't sell fish from various tanks because they are sick. There is dead fish in almost every tank. Not just dead, but skeletons after being eaten by their tankmates. 3 years ago their tanks were well maintained and constantly cleaned. Now, there is so much algae in them, you can barely see in several of them. Such a shame.

Dirtiest service ever. Please please please do not waste your money in PetSmart Roum Ing center. I have the worst experience ever. I booked an appointment for my dog for bath and brushing. The price was $37 and the Service includes shampoo pH-balanced for dogs, full blow dry brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, paw pad trim to neaten the feet & sanitary trim. But when I picked my puppy, nothing was done only shampoo and brush. When I reached home I noticed that and I called them back they said in wash and brush means only wash and brush, but it was clearly mentioned online in a bracket Service includes shampoo pH-balanced for dogs, full blow dry brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, paw pad trim to neaten the feet & sanitary trim.. After that they gave us two appointments every time they said only we can do shampoo and blow dry that’s it Nothing else are included. when I ask that it’s clearly mentioned that this is the thing that are included, it’s showing online. They denied. They said “no only the bather can bath and blow dry” that’s it. so it was my worst ever experience. I will request everyone do not go to the prosper location don’t waste your money. very very, very bad service.

We had a very bad experience and this is for the second time. We got our pet groomed and my pet’s nail was cut without any care and he is bleeding. Very rude for not even caring to inform us.
Never gonna go for PetSmart again.

Loved taking training classes with Jessica! We get so many compliments on how well behaved our boy is for his age. This is my first time owning a dog over 15lbs so it's very important to me that Teddy is polite. This class has given me the confidence to take Teddy just about anywhere. Thank you! ❤️

Very nice store. However, they should give you a bottle of treatment with each fish purchase. Cleared out most of a new 30 gallon tank with some sort of disease or parasite from here. I have no desire to collect fish carcuses for a week straight as they died off to bring in for a refund. Lesson learned... shop somewhere else.

Just had the beat pet shopping experiance of my life, and I visit alot of pet stores all over the west coast! I can not brag enough about your employee Mikaela she was amazingly kind, informative and made the experiance absolutely magical for my 4 year old her love and passion for animals shows ❤️ 10/10/10 perfect shopping experiance and we will be bsck!
