My mom and I did the "Try it" class. I signed us up as a gift for her birthday. It was really fun. It's 90 minutes, and you get 3 chances/balls of clay to make a bowl. You get to keep the best 2 after they fire and glaze them. The instructor was really nice, and she was very patient. It was my first time using a pottery wheel, and it was a bit challenging. She showed us everything once, and then she helped guide us if we forgot something or if it looked like something wasn't right. She helped me fix a couple problems when I asked. I'm not sure how the bowls will look when they're finished, but I am definitely considering going back and doing it again.

Speckled Turtle Pottery Studio is a nice place with helpful staff. It's a good spot for some creativity.

Such a nice staff. And this activity I would say is recommended for all ages not just kids even though they do have events for kids. They have a ton of different options in pottery and a wide selection of colors to choose.

Google maps shows they are open today. They are not. A few groups of people walked up to the front door to find it locked and were very disappointed.

Randomly stumbled upon this store and it was a wonderful experience. The studio is the cutest and the staff is absolutely amazing. Plus no studio fees!!

My daughter had a really great time at the summer camp here. I also had a quilt embroidered the owner did a really good job on. My daughter did the squishy camp and space camp (her favorite was the squishy), we will be back to do other crafts or camp next year.
