I called the store and asked them what the price of some boots were, and the guy was going to check, until I heard a lady with an accent (maybe indian)in the background at the register saying that they’re not gonna check. I gave him a description and where it was and I believe the lady might have been his boss. I’m not mad at the guy, but it’s just crazy to me that a boss is telling him not to help out a customer. This took place 08/14/2025 at 9:20 pm. It would’ve taken a minute for him to check and come back and tell me. This is a disappointment from that boss and how someone treats a customer. TJX Companies need to work diligently on hiring coordinators or associates that will actually do their job and help out a customer.

I did not appreciate how I was treated this morning I was having a great morning and went to return 1 item get to the cashier who stated the dress was in a different color …although the same brand…I’m like I’m sorry I don’t work at TJ Maxx to put the item sold to me in the computer system after calling the exact location that sold it to me the manager had to speak to the manager at this location where she informed me I should at least get credit back for the dress which is fine but what a horrible way to start my shopping that should’ve been a good experience instead I had to work for my refund. Terrible service thanks for dampening my shopping experience which I was planning to do there ….after returning the dress I just wasted the exact money and went elsewhere. Never have I ever experienced such a poor shopping experience especially at TJ Maxx no thanks Taylor. I

I had a great shopping experience at T.J. Maxx! The store was clean, and had a fantastic selection of items at reasonable prices. Definitely recommend checking it out!

One of the worst customer service I have come across in the recent times. I went to return items that were bought three days ago and the cashier DANIEL was so irresponsible to begin with and claimed we might have removed the tag or used the product for one of the line item. We tried explaining him that everything should have been in the place and I am not sure why it was not on the dress. He then gave some random comment and called in the store manager SEEMA. She came out and the first comment that she mentioned was why are the clothes having a different smell. Keep in mind that the clothes that were bought were not even removed from the bag that we bought in and it had just been 3 days from when we bought the clothes and all the price tags and hangers were intact and all she was mentioning is we cannot really do anything because the clothes were bought in a different store. I failed to understand that comment. And the funny part after all this the tag was present on the cloth and cashier was least bothered to look for the tag and passed random comments and accusations. The most irritating thing was the way that both cashier and store manager reacted.
I have been shopping in Tj Maxx for over more than 15 years now and never had this experience.
It would be really appreciated and great if Tj Maxx hired the right management with people management skills.
Tj Maxx could have done better with the store manager.
