Today we spent a relaxing day just messing around and one of our stops was the Marketplace on Main in Quitman, Tx.
This turned into a wonderful, pleasant experience. The store is loaded with beautiful antique furniture, collectibles, and pieces from the past.
The lady working the store was a pleasure to talk to and made it a fun time.
We highly recommend this store for all the antiques you could ever want. AAA++

This is a wonderful antique store in Quitman, Texas that my wife and I found quite by chance when driving through there a few months back. She wanted to look for Knick-nacks, I was looking for old books and records…but when we got in there we found amazing furniture including vintage stuff that would fit in nicely to a lake house we had just closed on, up on Caddo Lake.
So I bought a book, Nelda bought her Nick-knacks but we also bought a truckload of furniture, no joke!!! I was driving myToyota Camry that day, so we couldn’t take but a few little things. But Hayley Papez and her husband came and delivered the stuff to the lake house, which is not easy to get to, pulling a race car trailer behind their trusty dually. I am having bad back pain so they carried all this stuff in, up some stairs. Their daughter who looks like she’s about sweet sixteen carried in some heavy stuff herself! We were all (at least me!) having a grand time of it, talking about fishing, turkey hunting etc, treating me like I was a family member and not getting too annoyed at my jokes!
Sorry I don’t have many pictures, I’ll try to add some later. The selections they make for the store and there is a huge range of styles, rustic to Victorian. I highly recommend this store, which I’m tempted not to but it would be too selfish not to share my secret honey hole of cool stuff. And…they treated me like family but we are not related. No conflicts of interest or payoffs!!!

Found the perfect swag lamp for our music/game/sports room. Hayley & Corymade it happen by customizing the cord, chain & plug for this beauty to fit in our space. 10/10 recommend Marketplace on Main in Quitman. I can’t wait to go back! ??

Such a great store! Beautiful furniture and decor for the ladies and some stuff for the gents too.I snagged this Liberty Bell buckle and was told the back story behind it. Today, I rock Papa Bill's Belt Buckle!

This is a great find. I have not seen a place with this much quality antique furniture and with original wood finish. We must make a return visit soon. Compliments on your music selection, cookies and coffee. Very up scale.

I've had really good luck finding furniture at the Marketplace on Main. They have a large selection at reasonable prices. Best of all, they'll work with you on the prices. Everything I've bought from them has been great quality and condition but a fraction of the cost of big box stores with a lot more character.

I've only the chance to look around really, but I know I'll be coming back with intent. The excitement when looking through each piece, the wardrobes in particular, what a variety! And affordable. I initially just wanted to see what was there, and I'm very glad I took a moment to stop. I'll be back!

It is a great place to get unique antiques. It is about 2 hours from where I live. But the drive was great. Got a awesome lamp. My grandson got a couple of swords ⚔️. Got a lovely little angel.
