Picked up take out and we were given a cup of salsa with a lid. The lid had green spotty mold. The food was fine but the whole restaurant could use a cleaning and refresh.

Trudy We are Winter Texas and have been enjoying breakfast every morning at Grandma's Kitchen for 3 years!!The best place in town to get the best food and service!! You feel like family the minute you walk in the door!! Welcome with a smile and a hug!! Want a taco for breakfast? Tell them how you want and that's how you get it!!l Love oatmeal? The best I have ever eaten!! Mexican food? Go to Grandma's Kitchen!! She made Mac n Cheese for our 5 year old great granddaughter, she said it was the first time she'd ever made it for a customer!! They aim to please! When you leave, believe me, you will feel you are family, because that is the way you are treated!! The waitresses are awesome, being a waitress myself, ( before retiring) I know a good one from a bad one!! They get an A+ from this waitress!! Treat yourself to a good meal in a family friendly atmosphere, visit Grandma's Kitchen!!

Never write reviews, but I just had to this time. I paid $57 dollars on 3 meals. I ordered to go, and when I arrived home I only had the bottom of the tray covered with food. I literally had the amount of two feeding spoons covering the bottom of the tray spread out for rice and beans to make it look like there was food. The fried food taste like rancid oil. I took the food back and ordered a cheaper plate, but I was not given the difference on the payment. Also the second plate I ordered came with crispy tacos which i was not given. They did replace the plate, but I was not given the difference on the payment, or even the complete meal on the second plate. Never going back again, this is the worst Mexican and most expensive Mexican food Ive had. The amount of the food that is given to-go is not worth it.

The food is always hot and fresh! Their oatmeal is the best in town. And the Cowboys ambiance is AWESOME!! However, their wait staff could use some improvements.

Those of you who know me, know that I love trying little out of the way, hidden hole in the wall type of places. On our way home from SPI, we knew we were running out of small towns before a stretch that would have us chewing our arms off from hunger. After a quick look at my Yelp app I found this place. Easy access on/off the freeway. The place was semi packed & you could tell Grandma is a fan of the Cowboys because the place was a shrine to the Dallas Cowboys. Friendly staff (I think the whole family works there) & we were given menus. H was a bit upset he missed breakfast & when our drinks were brought to the table, she gave H a breakfast menu & said the cook was agreeable to fixing him something for breakfast. I ordered the Grandma's Special: fajita taco, cheese enchiladas, rice, beans & avocado. H had the chorizo eggs, scrambled w rice & beans. Once served, we dug in & it was delicious! The enchiladas were so freakin' good & the fajita meat was surprisingly good for a hole in the wall place. The flour tortillas were fresh & the portions hearty. Their salsa had a bite to it & was flavorful. The beans! Some of the best I've tried. Overall, this is a must visit place if you are ever in Raymondville, TX.

Very nice place to get authentic tex mex food. I had two carne asada with cheese breakfast tacos which were huge and I could only finish one taco. I took the other one to enjoy later. Great place to visit and enjoy some great food.
