Randy did a great job both time my truck was in there he replaced a cam the first time and then replaced the other 3 cam phasers the first shop didn't not due but charged me for. The only thing that wasn't not good was the valve covers where not sealed properly so when my truck went back to the shop in Odessa they said I have a oil leak from the valve covers so had to do another valve cover job to fix the oil leak. That was the only issue I had, of being charged twice for a valve cover job. Other then that his work was amazing.

I needed a mechanic right away because of some vandalism to my car and was referred to Randy's Reliable Auto by a family member. Everyone there was very nice and caring about my ordeal. Also, very informative about what I needed. Car runs great! Thank you for your knowledge and hard work.

“Do Not” go to this automotive shop. There is a clear discrepancy of communication within the shop of designated task or perhaps a combined organized scheme to steal money from the unknowledgeable. What is sad is the small amount stolen you could have gained 10x in customer referrals. Never again, don’t do it…reconsider!!!

I don’t usually do this but I feel like this experience was horrible and unnecessary. Granted I don’t know what else this man has going on but I called and told the guy I’m pretty sure it’s the ecm the vehicles computer system he advised he would want to do his own diagnosis which I happily agreed to I would like a second opinion we scheduled a time for me to get my vehicle towed up there. I had the appointment I got it towed up there the night before like they asked, two days later I hadn’t got a call so I called to check in on my service. That is when he advised me oh I can’t do anything with your car, I don’t have time for it or manpower. I said well did you at least get to diagnose it?he said I didn’t diagnose it once I started seeing signs It might be something electrical I decided I couldn’t help you. mind you he didn’t call me. I had to call him on top of that. I already told him before making the appointment. It’s most likely the computer system is what I was advised which is electrical so he knew it was possibly electrical. I also told him I didn’t have a lot of money, but I went ahead and paid for that tow to get up there and I would save up the money while he worked on it to pay him for the service. Which he knew so I had about two weeks to come up with the full amount which is fine great. I go to get my belongings out of the car. My car was in the exact same state as it was when it got towed all the stuff was in the same seats so he couldn’t got in my car and sat down. My battery was still unhooked because I had un hooked it before the tow so he didn’t hook the battery up. He literally had it in the same place The tow truck driver dropped it off, which was squeezed in between other cars where you couldn’t even get to under the hood so he didn’t even try to diagnose my vehicle. I feel like I wasted the money i had to tow to him instead of towing it to another mechanic which probably would’ve been more willing to help me. I think it was unprofessional and really just inconsiderate and not logical as to why he even accepted my appointment but the turned down even diagnosing it due to reasons he already was aware of.

Final update: we purchased a UV light and checked for ourselves and it was very obvious the leak was coming from the discharge line.
Update: 5th day and we no longer have a/c again. We will not continue returning unfortunately.
Firstly, the good. The customer service is excellent. Never rude and always pleasant.
We found Randy’s through google and the ratings drew us in. We brought our vehicle in for a A/C service. We had put in a new compressor, condenser, and fan and needed to bring it in to check for leaks and recharge. The first visit and pick up went great, until 3-4 days later the a/c went out. Brought it back, the second time because a valve was leaking even though that was changed and like clockwork 3-4 days later we were back at Randy’s shop. Finally, the leak was found to be from the evaporator core. We put in a new core, and returned to get our a/c recharged. We were charged a diagnostic fee twice for something we felt should have been found the first time, and not the third time around. It was a huge hassle having to drop it off more than 3 times to find the leak and I don’t feel like a proper leak detection test was done from the beginning.
