Staff is not empowered or unwilling to resolve simple issues, possible food safety issues. Bought a couple bottles of 7-Select sweet teas in the morning, at lunch I took a sip, and it tasted off and sour. Inspected the bottle and there was an unknown floating growth in the tea. I thought no big deal, I’ll take it back, surely they aren’t going to hassle me over $2.50, and just refund or replace, I have a digital receipt. Go in the afternoon, begin to explain the situation, bottle in hand, and the clerk rudely interrupted me. She’s already pulling the “I’m just an employee” card, she’s unwilling to help, I’m not wasting my time any further. I say I’ll just call the 7-Eleven corporate number on the bottle, and leave. She then follows me to my vehicle and says I can speak to the manager tomorrow, I can’t do that as I only work in the area on the weekends, I tell her that I’m calling corporate anyway because I want to report the lot number in case there might be a production issue. It’s unknown if it’s a production issue in manufacturing or a handling issue in store, the bottles were sealed and within expiration date. Disappointed they could not resolve a simple issue in store.
Oh, then we get to corporate’s handling. I fill out the form in the app, corporate sends me a case number and says they’ll reach out in 24-48 hours. Never get a response. Fine, I went and did the pettiest credit card dispute ever for $2.50 and got my money back. I will never shop at this location again, plenty of better run 7-eleven locations or competitors nearby.

Got a big gulp. Sipped once I entered car and tasted carbonated water. Went back into the store and was told I couldn't exchange my soda nor could I have a refund. Had to exchange words and reason for 3 minutes before getting the go ahead to grab a new fountain drink. They all tasted horrible. Clerk was knowledgeable about the issue but refused to give refund. Avoid. Why sell something you know is faulty.

They cant accept card or tap to pay bc their system is down. I go to the location often and there seems to be an issue often that last weeks without resolution. Very unsatisfied.

The store was quite small but good enough selection of the drinks, snacks and some prepared hot foods. The only cashier was helpful and friendly but no smile or greetings. The interior looked clean but some of drinks were with obvious dust on the cans. The exterior might need a bit help of maintenance.

It’s been months now and the Richardson location off Campbell Rd still does not have the local newspaper (Dallas Morning News). But the NYT is available. Why? Also, they have two entrances, before Covid, they were both open. During & after Covid one of the entrances is now locked & barricaded with supplies. Which looks tacky. The one locked from use is easier to access for those in wheelchairs compared to the other entrance. I’m adding to this: I got a response from 7-11 with a link for further information to investigate. The link basically looped me back to my initial post……the store location is at Post Eastside. The door is illegally locked during business hours and bring back our Dallas Morning News.
