I have an Uber rental with them. Despite the initial challenge of getting a vehicle (no gas one available and I refuse to drive a Teflon (Tesla & Elon), renewals have been efficiently handled and my questions are answered quickly via email. Getting someone on the phone is a "challenge."

Wish you could give zero stars. Their phone lines are down and they don’t even have the car you reserve.. so you can’t call and confirm they have it available. then they offer you a car that is double the price...

Rented a car through the Uber app, it was $100 more than advertised for "taxes"Explicitly asked about a charging cable and only found out later that it wasn't in the car!Very unresponsive with their phones (calls just disconnect with no message)Finally drove back for the cable, employee just said "Oh" and ignored the issue.Manager treated me like I'm a child, incredibly disrespectful! I will absolutely avoid this place and all Hertz whenever possible.

I had a great experience here, everything was fast and easy. A couple of things I'd like to mention though. Firstly, it's pretty hard to find a parking spot here. Secondly, the car was a little dirty. But the staff was very helpful and friendly - they know their job. All my requests were satisfied, and all my questions were answered back. Probably I was lucky.

I’ve been renting a Tesla with this company for about 1 month now, and it has its ups and downs that most people don’t really talk about, like for one, these vehicles are full of torch and power so whenever the car needs to be maintained they send you to there “2nd party maintenance” people from various locations such as ntb, discount tire, etc. Only problem is it’s always a long wait. They are always busy and if your tire gets messed up, or you get in a jam they never have anything In stock. They have you running around everywhere to get the car serviced, and most of the time there is a long wait or, they don’t have the size or the tires for these vehicles. And because of this I have to pay out of pocket just to keep the income flowing in a regular basis. I hope they can improve in this area, because it is a safety issue.

I have a confirmed booking for today August 1st that was taken on July 7th. Hertz sent a text today shortly before opening to tell me they ran out of cars. This happened last year as well despite being a good member.Fortunately, Enterprise Rental pulled me out of a tight spot even with short notice. Hertz is just unreliable. They have burned me for the past 5 years now, but I remained loyal. Hertz is not what it was in the past.

A lady. Is very rude I asked her a simple question and she rudely told me to have a seat and wait. She then has no customers and makes me wait until another individual is finished because she didn’t want to service me. I feel discriminated against and will be filing more reports. Clearly customer service training skipped over her.

Don’t rent anything here, they will steal your money, and won’t do anything about it. They just gaslight you and blame you for it. Ishmael Zulu needs to do better if he actually is the manager, because his actions are rediculous. Telling me one price, and then charging a different price when I leave. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

If I could give negative stars I would. Showed up at 8am to pick up our rental car they said was available so we could drive to Austin and check in at 2pm at our hotel there. When we got there, they told us no cars were available and to come back at 2pm, but no guarantee there would even be a car then. The lady gave short no responses. No attempt to give any solutions. Looked down at the desk while she spoke to me. I exited to go tell my wife and we promptly returned. At this time, Ishmael Zulu (branch manager) came in and without even attempting to try and make things better (do his job), he threatened to call the police because we were a bit upset and we were amazed at how much they didn't care about providing customers we service. Didn't even offer to have another branch help us out. He sat there and threatened my wife to leave or he would call the cops. We didn't yell or use profanity. The guy just didn't seem interested in doing the right thing or anything at all for that matter. We left and went to another hertz branch who helped us and were great. Stay away from this branch or any branch where Ishmael Zulu works! He needs to be demoted or fired!

After an auto accident my insurance set me up with a rental car through Hertz Richardson. The Branch Operations Manager, Ishmael, was fantastic! He went above and beyond to deliver a vehicle to the auto body shop when I arrived. When there was an issue with the initial rental he quickly made accommodations to swap out the vehicle for another. This was even during a time when rentals are hard to come by. He provided his mobile number to text if anything else was needed. He was really easy to work with and allowed the process to be really simple when so many other moving parts and stress going on that comes with having a car accident. Would definitely recommend!

Ishmael Zulu HATES women. I'm not sure if it's just white women or all women but, I've never had such a disgusting and sexist encounter with a business in my life. I'm scared to post the details because my review would get deleted. Why was this hateful man so angry with me? All because when I came to pick up my reservation they had NO CARS. Even though they knew since 3pm the day before they wouldn't have any cars, not one person bothered to call to tell me. When I VERY polite to him and no matter how nice I was in voicing my displeasure the more hateful he was. Telling me... and I quote, "we don't like doing business with your kind anyway". I can't believe in 2022 businesses still condone this behavior.

I give 2 stars for car availability and price. BUT Customer service and car quality horrible. Car broke down out of town, called the location where I rented and basically felt stranded. With rudeness I was told to call roadside assistance. When I asked about getting a replacement, I was told I had to go 20 miles to the nearest location. What had I been in the middle of nowhere?!?! Waited almost another hour at the airport location nearby me for a replacement. The very next day the low pressure warnings were flashing on the new vehicle. Only drove maybe a few miles, bc I was still out of town. My mom had just passed, I was In the process of making funeral arrangements at a very hard time. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Worst. Experience. Ever. This location never answers the phone. There are two separate offices here, "regular" hertz and "uber" hertz, which, oddly, have different hours of operation, even though it is the same people working. I showed up at 8:20am, with a reservation, to be gruffly greeted by "oldy mc sleeperson" (my name for him, since he never introduced/identified himself) who barked at me that uber hertz didnt open until 9am, and told me i had to sign in "or get skipped". I signed in. He proceded to stare at his computer and nod off for the next 40 minutes, never typing, never seemingly doing any work at all. I could hear the phone ringing. He made no moves to answer it. When 9:00 rolled around, "oldy" and a lady named brittany, called on the first two of us in line. Not wanting to deal with oldy's gruffness again, i moved to brittany's desk. When we started talking about price and insurance coverages, i mentioned that she was charging me a different price from the reservation email. This is when i discovered that her neck tattoos werent just for decoration... she was clearly a prior enforcer for the mob. She started telling me that she "didnt know" where i got my information (i told her, and showed her, from the hertz email) and basically threatening to not rent me a car because i was wondering about the (relatively small, to be fair - $8) price difference. When i asked if she had a supervisor, she informed me that she "was the boss" and had no superiors. She then forced me to sign, without reading, a paper of disclosures/contract terms (numbered, starting at #12) and when i asked where the first page (#s 1-11) was she snapped at me saying "just sign it!" She then proceeded to talk smack about me to another employee while i was sitting across from her. I'll keep his name out of this, since he was the only employee on site that seemed to be worth anything at all. He took over from her, and the rest of my experience was normal. If zero stars was a rating, I would give it. I will NEVER rent from Hertz again. With employees like this, it is no wonder they went bankrupt.

I wish that I could give a zero rating. Absolutely appalling customer service. They're barely a functioning business. No one answers their phone. I needed to delay my car return by one day. Online said they were closed during the weekend even though the door says they are open on Saturday. I had to keep the car until Monday. I called the 800 number and that was the better option because dropping off the car at another location would have been an extra $509! So, when I arrived on Monday, the door said they were closed and to call the Plano location. When I called the Plano store they said to just drop off the key and someone would pick it up. There's no record of when I dropped off the car! I could have done that on Saturday then if that's how they do business.

If a zero was avail that would be appropriate! The Manager Brittany Williams needs to be fired!! She has no business being in any business involving customer service! When I brought it to her and her staffs attention that the size rate I was being charge didn't match the type of vehicle I was receiving, Brittany's response was that she would "take $20 off".. I was being charged over $200 more then I should have. When I told Brittany this was unacceptable, she told me I can cancel the reservation and go else where - walked out of the office into a vehicle and left!! When I told the front desk gentlemen I wanted to file a complaint.. his response was " well it won't be the first time!".. this is obviously something this particular office does to people often. Acceptance of over billing is a culture there. Please take your business elsewhere to avoid poor customer service and not getting what you pay for! I included a copy of my invoice to show the class of vehicle reserved, the class of received and the class of vehicle that was billed.
