I was warned by mom's hospice nurse that Infinity is notorious for not claiming the insurance correctly or missing doing so and asked me to watch out. I am still dealing with the pharmacy since mom started hospice care back in October. Even worse, they started charging mom interest even after I had called to ask them to claim with mom's hospice care several times. So bad! Unfortunately, we don't have choice since mom's senior living will charge us $75 if we don't use Infinity.

I am the POA responsible for the payment of my sister’s pharmacy bill. The online payment site login and password along with the receipts for payments, are emailed directly to me. For 3 consecutive months recently, though I receive receipts and I have documented proof of received payments leaving my personal banking account, no documenting of received payments have been entered into Infinity’s System. Today, another statement was received wanting payment of the same three “paid” amounts. I have called to point out the error but, nothing has been documented or changed. This is why keeping an accurate date of the payments on my side is important. Review your statements always. Don’t just, out of habit, pay due by routine like clock work. Review, Review, Review. Hindsight is 20/20.

We operate 4 Assisted Living care homes in Dallas and work closely with Infinity Pharmacy. They are responsive, kind, patient, pro-active and treat our residents like they know them individually. Always thinking ahead. They make it easy to work for, so says Sandi, our Director of Nursing.

Infinity Pharmacy is a diligent/elite Pharmacy that cares for it's facilities, patients, and employees! Infinity exceeds any pharmacy expectations I've had.

My mother’s assisted living facility uses infinity pharmacy for their residents’ prescriptions. There have been several times in which I’ve had to get involved and call Infiniti directly to get the information I needed regarding the order and delivery of my mother’s meds. I have always been impressed with the customer service that I have received from Infiniti. Their staff is friendly, helpful, and always has the answer to all of my questions. They’ve also always delivered medications promptly, even on weekends.

I received statements - with questionable charges. I called and could not reach any customer service reps on the phone. I left voicemail, no return calls. Next I called the billing department to ask if they were "In network" and was told it was MY responsibilty to have Medicare set Infinity as a Preferred Pharmacy - very rude. Infinity Pharmacy is the suggested provider for an ALZ Care Center, so one would THINK they would provide customer service to the family member who is the POA. Nothing. I do NOT understand.

Edit again: editing this in February, 2021: Their service has improved a lot in the last few months. I am getting phone calls more frequently when medications are running out or there are price anomalies or sudden price hikes and they want to get my approval before shipping. I do still have to do a lot of work to stay on top of the refills, per my comments below. But the customer service aspect has improved, so I wanted to add to my comments and raise the stars on my review. Raising from one star to three stars. Hopefully this improvement will last.Edit: Fast forward to October, 2020. Editing this review. No improvement at all and I echo my 1-star review because that is the maximum allowed. Everything I try to accomplish with Infinity Pharmacy takes between 5 and 10 phone calls (for each one of many medications), and even then they continue to make mistakes with mediation for my elderly father in assisted living. I can only imagine what happens with all of the elderly patients who do not have a family advocate caring for them. It's truly deplorable.Review from October 2018: Constant problems - and many, many egregious mistakes - since we switched to Infinity Pharmacy. Incorrect medications sent in the patient's daily packs (including those for another patient, those flagged for medication allergies, those that had been discontinued months ago, etc.!), missing mediations many times, huge delays on urgent medications, constant chasing them down for answers with no response for days. I got a huge laugh out of the positive review from Jeff Hinman. A quick Google search will show you that his wife, Niki Hinman, works at Infinity. Please do your research before you believe reviews, esp the positive ones. My contact info, unlike Jeff's, is easily searchable. Please contact me if you want more info about the litany of mistakes Infinity has made.

I have been using Infinity Pharmacy Specialty Services for over 8 months now and I wouldn’t use any other pharmacy for my medically fragile child. They manage all of my child’s medications and makes sure she gets her medications on time. Before I had issues with my Pharmacy Not having her medication in stock because she was just one of the many patients they provide meds for. Infinity Focuses on providing meds (specialty, compounds, OTC’s, and more) for medically fragile children, therefore we have received top notch pharmacy service and there was no extra cost to use them compared to my last pharmacy! The best part about it is they next day deliver all her meds to my door step for free.I highly recommend any family to use them for all their child’s medications

Extremely disrespectful managers, when employees couldn’t help me and a supervisor or manager came to the phone she was rude and rudely dismissive, there’s better Mediocre mail-in places, don’t waste your time here.

The customer service is absolutely atrocious! The last lady I spoke with was very rude, over the phone. Somehow, my billing date and delivery date never seem to stay consistent. I've transferred all of my prescriptions elsewhere, and have been happy ever since.

My doctor encouraged me to try them. I’m new to area and need a compounding pharmacy, as well as a general one. I also need delivery services. I received a message saying they received my prescription and it provided a callback number that matches what is on the brochure my PCP provided. I called and told person #1 that she cannot find my prescription in system and she’s on pediatric side. She transfers me to voicemail that has shrill tone. I hung up and called again. This time person #2 answers and says that they only do long term care facilities. I’m frustrated. Their brochure doesn’t say that. I call my PCP and say I need to go with my insurance providers pharmacy and explain what occurred. I state I’ll wait till next appointment to straighten out and set up new pharmacy.
I talk to call pharmacy again and now I’m told by person #1 that they are taking on new patients and that she’s wanting to contact my pcp because prescription was sent to wrong location. I’m not convinced. That should have been fixed by the pharmacy rep or technician contacting their other location. Plus the fax information is on brochure and the phone number in their message matches what is on the brochure. The address given in original message from pharmacy is a Richardson, TX address. Both the original and person #1 messages are the same callback numbers.
My iPhone provides me an audio message and transcription of the message. Technology is a mixed blessing these days. This time it’s a blessing for me, since it provides documentation of the contact information and pharmacy address.
When you call in it says that they bought another group. It appears that they have an internal communications problem.
I since spoke with my PCP office again. I said I’m not comfortable with this pharmacy and would like to hold off. I’d rather someone else go through their growing pains process and the pharmacy get their act together.
In the meantime, I’ve called a pharmacy locally who compounds and they are checking with their lab to see if they do the compound I need.
This has been an unsettling experience. Thankfully my situation isn’t critical. For someone else this could be extremely detrimental.
Pharmacy representatives should not play this type of game.
My PCP is a general practitioner / internist.
Update-
My PCP followed up. Apparently I wasn’t the only patient he attempted to fill medication at Infinity for. He agreed this pharmacy is having issues. My compound is being filled at Texas Star. Texas Star chemist and pharmacy staff were on top of things from the moment the script was received.
For those who don’t know what a compounded medication is:
“A compounded medication is a drug that is specifically prepared for you, based on a prescription from your doctor. Your pharmacist will mix different ingredients together to create an individualized medication for you, in a specific strength and dosage form.”
It’s not mass produced. Most insurance companies don’t include in their formularies and usually isn’t covered by insurance. Most pharmacies don’t mix compounds. Those that do have a chemist on staff that chooses the compounds they will mix. Communication is essential.
The hateful commenter, Jeff wouldn’t know whether or not I needed the medication, because he’s not the specialist treating me, my PCP and has no idea what the compound requested was, unless he works for Infinity. So, if Jeff is an Infinity employee, he violated patient confidentiality, because only my medical providers and pharmacies would know my medication needs. Since I recently moved my PCP was attempting to help establish me with a pharmacy that would meet my specific needs. The compound prescription originated from what my PCP and insurance company call a “super specialist.” This process isn’t unusual, nor are these types o
