I went by the Richardson location and Ruby was the clerk at that location. She was very informative, respectful and helpful she showed that she cared and she was willing to go show me units she also stayed within my budget which made me feel very comfortable! The location was very clean. I will definitely recommend this place/ location to others.

I was pleasantly greeted when I entered Devon self storage with a pleasant smile. The paper work went fast, the prices were great and the size of my storage was perfect. It had an overhead ceiling Rafter perfect for hanging my clothes and some of my crafting. I love Devon storage especially with the first month free. If you’re looking for a place to store valuable things check out Devon”s Storage, I’m sure you’ll be please.

Move in was a breeze and the could of concerns /questions that I had Ruby answered/addressed them immediately. She seems to be on top of her game and I feel my stuff is safe. I definitely would recommend Devon Storage on Centennial Blvd in Richardson to anyone.

One giant headache and extremely disappointed with the most everynaspect of my experience. I rented / paid for one of Devon's largest units. Upon my arrival, with moving truck and three movers at $225 an hour, I was told they only had very small units on the second floor. The employee was incredibly hostile and was down right mean. I was told that if I don't like it go somewhere else. that was not an option while I was on the clock for 225 an hour. The employee, who appartely has an unfavorable reputation, further delayed the process by refusing to show the movers how to use the elevator. The tiny storage wars crammed with my very nice furniture.
The lady was on the war path and I did keep my composure solid and respectful as possible.
Long story is now I have there different tiny units stuffed where I can't find a thing. Her power trip cost me hundreds of dollars. I was told management would call and I received no word.
about 5 weeks later I get a call that I'm late on a payment and have occurred fees. A few days later I received a called from the new site manager regarding payment. She was much more professional and listened. What she figured out is that one storage was on automatic pay and the other two were not. I contested and was told I would receive a call from management.
I ended up paying late fees and received no call from management. The facility is poorly keep with most security monitors broken. On my second trip I found a used needle next to the elevator. At that point I was not suprised.
just say no absolutely appropriate regarding Devon Storge.
