Finally leaving a review a year after my wedding. She had done my prom dress a long time ago and it was beautiful and perfect! However, for my wedding dress, she left the length too long and I was tripping over it the whole day! Everyone was concerned for my safety! I had requested that she make it a bit less than an inch above the floor, and she refused citing my shoe color. I trusted her because of her previous beautiful work - big mistake! She took my dress up some what, but I was miserable all day tripping on it. It was no where near taken up enough. I didn't catch it because I only briefly tried it on once she was done altering it at her house - my own fault. I did not take it out of the dress bag again until the day before my wedding. Also, she barely did any work on it until the last minute and had to give me a special Sunday appointment so she could have it "done" (but not hemmed to the proper length) barely 6 days before the wedding. For many weeks it had seemed like she was doing no work. I don't know why she chose to do shoddy work for a loyal customer. There were also weird stains on the dress (that had been given to her care brand new) that I had to spend the night before my wedding getting out with my fiance.... not sure how she allowed it be stained in her care. She charged way too much for doing such bad work. I would have left this review sooner to warn other customers, but life got in the way. You lost a customer who would have come to you for the rest of her life, and would have recommended you to so many people.Editing to add: Yes, she does charge the price once upfront. Not disputing that. But for a dress that put my life in danger because I kept tripping on it, it was far too much money paid. She had done no work on it for many weeks prior to her family's health issues.

When I got my dress it was WAY too big on me, and people were quoting me twice the cost of the dress to tailor it. So glad I found Lisa and she made it for perfect !

I have gone to Lisa and only trust Lisa for all my tailor needs. In 2017 she did a miracle fix on my wedding dress in under a week.She also fixes plenty chest area and lengths on rompers and jumpsuits for me. They look brand new after you can’t tell they’ve been altered.Her pricing is the best for top quality as well.

I am still blown away at the amazing job Lisa did on my dress. One of the things I worried most about my wedding was whether or not I could find someone who could alter my dress with such a tight turn around (7 weeks) and wouldn't make any mistakes on it still. Every single thing on the dress was perfect and still had it back with plenty of time to spare. She was an angel for going out of her way to make time for me and then getting corrections made in time for the next fitting.
