I wanted a trim. I said I want my hair cut as less as possible so we agreed on over an inch. She asked if I wanted some layers, and I said yes. Bi instead chopped a whole chunk off. I am so crushed with the final result. The second photo was taken 2 days ago for reference. Possibly the worst cut I have had in years, if not ever. 😞 genuinely crushed by the final result.

I’ve been going to Mimi Salon for over 20 years, and it continues to be my go-to place for exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. The consistency, care, and professionalism I’ve experienced over the years are unmatched.
A huge shout-out to my incredible hairstylist, Judy! Her talent, attention to detail, and ability to bring my vision to life never cease to amaze me. Judy always takes the time to listen and makes sure I leave feeling confident and refreshed—she’s truly the best!
Also, kudos to Annie, the owner, for creating such a fun, vibrant, and positive environment. It’s clear that her leadership and passion are what make Mimi Salon such a special place.
If you’re looking for a salon that combines skill, heart, and a great vibe, I can’t recommend Mimi Salon enough. Here’s to another 20 years!

Annie, the owner, is the BEST. I’ve been to many salons, but none compare to the level of care and attention she provides. She listens, is present, and always goes the extra mile to be helpful. Plus she remembers your name and saves your phone number, which shows how much she values her customers.
I've had a Japanese straight perm done at several places in Houston, but none of them offer the complementary Shiseido treatment (which is common in Japan) that Annie provides. I believe she’s the only one in the Dallas area who offers it. (Again, going out of her way to give her clients quality care). My hair has never been this soft and it’s been months since my treatment! Annie takes the time to learn about your hair’s health and thanks to her I discovered I was doing some things that weren’t great for my hair. Ron did my hair and he’s so skilled. I ask for him each time. Great hospitality and care :)

Roy is a fabulous stylist. Best experience I've ever had with shampoo and style. Roy washed my hair thoroughly with additional massage of the neck, forehead area, and around the ears. He has perfect technique of styling the hair, is professional and courteous. The price was below what I usually pay for this service. Amazing experience!
