Unless you like surprise bills, DON'T COME HERE!
I've known this company and business owner a lot of my childhood - this mechanic was a family friend and my family used them to help fix up our family's fleet vehicles. So when I got out of the military I decided to use them as my main mechanics, driving over 45 minutes just to come to their shop. I first went around COVID to just get basic maintenance done on my truck, they were very quick & informative, gave me great information on what oil is the best for my engine and good advice on when to change fluids. 1st experience was great, so I came back when I was having issues on my other vehicle - this is when the problems started. They would not communicate with me on what parts they were getting, prices, or really what they were doing. I took it as my fault for not vocalizing the exact things I would like done and how much I could afford. I paid the hefty bill and went on my way feeling a little robbed, but didn't take it personal since I thought this was family. I was WRONG, didn't learn til I came back the final time.
I brought my Jeep into them after getting into an accidents and dealing with the insurance. It was a big mess, and my parts ended up getting lost - so the business ordered me new parts, so I call Martha (the owner) to see if they could do me a favor and place all the parts I had onto the vehicle and to let me know what was missing so that I could work with the company to get my parts replaced. She told me she understood and told me she would let her mechanic know so they could relay what parts were still missing. I knew I was going to have to pay for labor and some minor missing parts (i.e. bolts, brackets, screws, ect), but I wasn't going to pay for any parts or anything else, I just wanted my car put back together. I didn't hear anything from her for about a week, when my husband messaged MSM to get an idea of what was going on - Martha called him and told him they were going to the scrap yard to get parts since they were missing some. FIRST MISTAKE. Not what we agreed on, you were to use MY PARTS that were already there with the vehicle. I little more time goes by, we keep messaging the shop asking for estimates and information on the status but still heard nothing. A couple more days go by and still no response after asking TWICE for an estimate or update. Finally my husband calls the shop and tells them to stop whatever they're doing and he's gonna come up and get the Jeep. $1,500$ bill is then thrown at him as he walks in the door, charging us for things WE DIDN'T ASK FOR! All the parts I had were still in their boxes in the back of the car. The check engine light was also on - was not on when we brought the vehicle in... They also popped out a dent on the Jeep which was NEVER MENTIONED, but definitely charged for.
I came to a business where I thought loyalty and relations meant something, but I guess the closer to Dallas the shadier the business gets. Don't use this shop, they will not respect your wishes and will do whatever they feel like doing to your vehicle and expect you to pay - no matter what you asked for. They got the last money outta me they will ever get. I will NEVER be back, and I will make sure everyone I know, stays away as well.

I have experienced nothing but the best of what I might have expected from MSM. Excellent vehicles, great pricing, and truly personal service. Martha even gave me a ride after I dropped off a car late one evening. It's rare that you can recommend a player in the automotive world, but I do with MSM - with confidence.

I've used Martha for years when I needed an honest mechanic who also can provide transportation for me while my vehicle was in the shop. They do great work! They price competitively compared to the market. I recommend MSM several times a year to friends that need a car to rent or work done on their vehicle. I even send them to MSM when they're looking to buy used. Martha,Thank you for being you. You've got a great company and you take care of us little guys.Thanks,Scott
