Please hire more people. I know it's tough out there these days, but waiting 7-10 business days to even have your truck LOOKED AT is insane. You act like we are pretty dumb when we drop off our cars/trucks. I'll try 5-star.

Don't truest them they will doa bait and switch's Worst car sales experience ever! Was quoted 46k for trade in and in writing can get me more if car is in good shape. Car only had 6k miles and is in perfect conditions. When I bring the car in I'm told it's now 41k. Excuse was the market dropped...5k, NOT! Then when leaving sales guy comes running after me stating if I get a higher offer elsewhere they will match it...seriously?!?!Waste of my time and insulting to my intelligence

Made an appointment to bring my brand new F-150 in for some warranty work. Got a date and time. Later I get a text from a Seth in the Service Department stating that even though I have an appointment that I will need to leave my truck for at least a week before they can EVEN do a diagnostic for the items that need fixed, then it is no telling how much longer they would have to keep my truck. They were that backed up. I asked to just bring my truck in when it got close to when they would be able to at least look at it. I was told no because sometimes people don't show up (hard to believe) or are late. This makes zero sense because if the next vehicle up to be looked at or worked on doesn't show up then go to the next one. Well the service advisor went on to tell me how busy they were, how many work orders each and every mechanic had and blah, blah, blah. Never once answered why they couldn't just have me bring mine in at a later date and then wait to be diagnosed. I don't mind leaving it a day or so till they get to it but to leave it a least a week just sitting in there parking lot instead of in my driveway or garage made, again, zero sense. Seth did try to tell me that other dealers were weeks and week out to look at vehicles in for service. I called 5 Star in Carrollton and they offered to come pick up my car and bring me a loaner if needed that very day and would get to my warranty work asap. I just think North Central Ford Service Department needs to take a look at themselves and try and emulate other dealerships instead of whining and making excuses.

Today all I had to do was call North Central Ford and they sent someone to my house to pick up my car and take it in for an oil change. During the oil change, they had several things they checked. It was very convenient and I loved that especially on these hot days. And they even washed my car, which was an extra special perk. And the representative was congenial and polite. Loved it!

Been waiting on a recall fix since fmc authorized the recall in feb 2023, it's now almost august.. made 5 phone calls, never got a call back. Went to dealer he said it would take 7 days before they could even look at it, and not sure parts were even ordered to fix the recall, meanwhile I called ford they say parts for recall were plentiful and the dealer just needed to place the order....Good luck with any service you need to have done

I scheduled an appointment 3 weeks in advance to have my 40K miles maintenance performed. Upon showing up 15 minutes early for said appointment I was met by a person who asked me what (?) I wanted. I stated I had an appointment and gave him my name and phone number. I was puzzled by his comment only to be further surprised by his gruff attitude. He did not offer his name or offer any pleasantry's. He looked up from his computer and stated I did not have an appointment. I then showed him my text message confirmation from the prior day. Much to my surprise, upon reviewing my text he stated my car would be available in 5 to 6 business days. This service advisor sits at the first desk closest to the service bay entrance. I would politely walk away from him if he offers to help you. I have gone to a different Ford dealership who answers the phone promptly and is courteous.

North Central Ford, Richardson, Texas has the worst Service Department ever. Buying a car here was a great experience. I bought a 2021 Ford Bronco (converted to 2022) and the dealer was great with the purchase and did not charge any additional dealer fees. In early January I had to take my Bronco in for service with a charge fault warning. From the first meeting Jim (senior service advisor) was looking for an out not to cover the warranty service. He was claiming the truck was submerged and most likely would not be covered even before the Bronco was taken in. The Bronco was taken off road once and never submerged but it was splashed, very normal considering it is an offroad vehicle (I have pictures). After two days I got a quote texted to me for over $1300 to replace the alternator. I immediately called Jim to discuss and he kept claiming the alternator was submerged and this was not covered due to using an offroad vehicle offroad, abuse in his words. I talked to Gary the Service Department Director and it was absolutely useless other than for him to tell me that being submerged and splashed are exactly the same. According to him they are the same and just a matter of semantics. He was also supposed to follow up on a wiring issue that was in a Ford TSB and he never did. What a joke!I refused the service and when I went to pick up my vehicle they even tried to charge me a $195 diagnostic fee. From the top down the service team at North Central Ford is a total failure when it comes to customer service. Fast forward to March 2023, Ford issues TSB 22-2392 and Ford is now covering the alternator issue when used off road.

**Time wasting as I was selling my used car when I had other dealer appointments that morning. At least they gave me a cold water and were polite despite my frustration at their tactics.**I came here with an offer for my used car in hand from another dealer at the KBB appraisal price. I wanted to give North Central Ford a chance to make a better offer. I arrived at 10:29am for my 10:30 appointment, they took pictures for several minutes, took several more minutes to get me a water, and then said someone was "appraising it right now". At 10:50, I stood up and looked around for the rep who'd talked to me. Nowhere. I checked outside for my car. It wasn't there. I walked back in to ask about where my rep was. Then I walked to the glass windowed office where several men were sitting at desks, and asked "any idea why it's taking so long to appraise my car?" They seemed in disarray. I said "I need my car and key back. This is not that way to do things."Someone quickly found my key and followed me to the door. No explanation, no offer in hand, nothing, 23 minutes after an acquisitions appointment.I said "I have two more appointments. What you do, as a participating Kelley Blue Book quote purchaser, is check the quote, give the car a quick look to see if you want to go above or below that quote. It takes a few minutes to verify the information that I already told you. Not 25 minutes when I have other appointments. You're wasting my time."He said "okay, we have to look at everything to make sure it's as stated." I said "it only takes a few minutes. And now I'm going to have a bad feeling about your whole operation here at North Central Ford over a couple hundred dollars for a used car acquisition."I hit the alarm for my car and found it over on the SIDE of the building, with no one even pretending to appraise it. I then sold the car down the street to Lute Riley Honda, for $200 over the KBB price, and cancelled my other 3 appointments. When a dealer stalls on appraising a used car, always suspect this as a negotiating tactic. Of course they'll all say "we don't operate like that, we're honest" without changing their behavior. If they claim to be a KBB participating used car acquirer, then they shouldn't waste a car owner's time.

The Service is pretty bad!!! They gave us an appt for last Monday at 9:30am, I don’t even understand why because we have to leave the truck there, we wait for 24 hours, nobody call us to let us know what is wrong with the truck. We started calling the dealer they can’t give us information, we have to speak with a specific technician which was always busy. He finally call us back after I complaint with a manager and he told me after 24h they still not knowing what’s wrong with the truck, they have to send it to another department. well that department called us today (3 days after) letting us know that just for remove the oil and SEE what is wrong with the truck we have to pay $750 and they still not knowing what is wrong with the truck!!RIDICULOUS.... never never never get service with Ford dealer it’s horrible service!!! No more Ford for us!! After this bad experience!!!!
