Don’t use Quest location inside Tom Thumb (819 W Arapaho Rd, Richardson, TX 75080). They kept me waiting 10 minutes despite there being no one having tests done currently. When I asked the employee doing blood draws for her first name, she repeatedly refused to tell me. Horrible experience. Go to Labcorp instead!

DO NOT use their “text me when ready” option - they WILL NOT text you, then they will cancel your appointment.
There is no one to escalate to.
There is no phone number to call.
The staff are useless.
After waiting 2 hours for our 10am appt, we were told “you have to register again, we called out your name”. When I pointed out that we had registered to be texted, she shrugged and admitted she didn’t text us but that she had “already cleared out of the system”.
When I asked if we would be NEXT, I was told “I’ll see what I can do.”

Went in for a walk-in appt. Self check in was easy enough. Just wanted to say thank you to Tina! She did great job even with a full lobby it was fast and friendly service.

My choice facility when it comes to lab work as I never have to make an appointment and the results are in my doctor's hands within 48 hrs. I've been very happy with the service & request lab work at quest (I've even called and asked doctor's to resend orders when sent to another lab). Also appreciate they are open on Saturdays, which is the most convenient time for me, and most labs are closed.
Update 2025
Another good experience. It's frustrating the system didn't have my insurance, and marked me as self-pay, when I used the kiosk to upload my insurance and selected insurance pay... Tina was helpful and updated everything on her end... had to scroll through multiple screens but succeeded. Seems like there needs to be an update for data transfer, but at least Tina cared enough to spend the time to fix. Also, no pain or bruise with blood draw

This quest is awful. The staff are incredibly inefficient to the point where you have to wonder if they’re on their phones with the door closed. Furthermore, I've had several experiences with unprofessional and poorly trained staff at this location.

Appointments do not seem to help. Waiting rooms overcrowded. I should have looked at this site's review before making an appointment.
