This Home Depot store in Dallas on Coit Road is well-stocked and clean. I went to look for a floor replacement and talked to Rusty in the flooring department. WOW, he went the extra mile to help me. He assisted me with explanations of each carpet and also the vinyl planks options. Also, he told me that once I get a quote with measurements, he will go over it point by point to get a clear understanding. I recommend this store to come for home improvements!

While shopping here we needed a bucket to do grouting on a project my son needed done that day. They were completely out of buckets. Cashier Sally got us help, but no one could find a bucket. I stated "well that sucks we have to find another store just to get a bucket".Eileen heard my comment said hold on a minute. She then went over behind customer service desk, emptied a bucket being used as a trash bin, then brought it to us. THIS IS great customer service saved me lots of time.

8 people deep at customer service. One employee who needed a manager to help. Manager never came. People got frustrated and left the store. Waited 25-30 minutes and also left the store. Never going to this location again.

If you want to wait on yourself while a group of employees stands around talking this is your store. If you are lucky and someone actually offers to help they most likely have zero knowledge about the products you are looking for. When time permits I will always go to Ace on Beltline and Coit or Lowe's

Just want to take a second and give a VERY big thank you to Noble for helping us locate our dream rocking chairs! My Fiancé and I had been on the search for a pair of rocking chairs to put on our balcony for at least a year now. On a last minute search after running errands I saw that this specific Home Depot had a pair of chairs that we wanted. So, we go we look and we only see a lighter pair. We came across a nice man named Noble to help us locate this specific color rocking chair, he looked in his system and saw that he had 10 in stock. Unfortunately, it did not give the location on where they were. He let us know that he will go look for them but it might be about 5/10 minutes. So we sat down and waited, and waited, and waited for approximately 45 minutes. Which I know what you're thinking, why would we wait 45 minutes but let me tell you, we have wanted these chairs for so long that we were 100% OK with waiting. Well after waiting that long I ended up trying to locate another associate to see if he could locate noble. I did find another associate and he was able to locate noble, unknowingly they still had not found the chairs. Which was ultimately due to a mislabeling on their end so it would not populate a specific location of them in the store. By around the hour mark my fiancé and I decided that maybe we will come back another day because we just couldn't keep waiting. The second associate that I had found did an amazing job by putting in an email to go to the managers and whoever else to be on the lookout to find these chairs. By this point we got home and around an hour and a half later I get a call from an associate at Home Depot telling me that they found the chairs! They asked if I wanted to pay over the phone so that they would reserve them by a customer service and all we had to do was come pick it up and leave. As well as giving us $50 off due to the time that we had waited in store. We cannot believe the customer service we received today and how amazing their staff was to accommodate what we wanted. They could have easily told us to come back another day to see if they got put out but instead they went above and beyond and it was not overlooked. Noble, thank you so much for your diligent search! Jonathan is the backbone of this Home Depot, I was looking to get a wall repair kit and they had none in stock, except for the very high shelves. Jonathan saw me looking lost and went above and beyond to help me get the item I needed. Thank you!!!

Went into the Coit Rd. Store to purchase floor tile for a bathroom project on March 26th. Of course, on a Saturday everyone else in the area was there too. Although there probably was enough tile on the floor to do my project, I really wanted to get all the same lot #. I went over to the desk and asked two men to check the stock. Loren and Kenny found the extra stock pallet and they both immediately took off to get the pallet. They brought it to the aisle and were helpful to cut away the plastic so that I could get 16 boxes off the new pallet. In the past, and even that day, I expected it to be similar to pulling teeth to get that type of help, but again Kenny and Loren were FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! I hope this is shared with them.

I really like this location. It's very conveniently located, they have no issues with returns or exchanges, and is my number one stop when I'm working on a home/work project. The only thing that prevents it from getting a 5 star review is the knowledge of the staff. Each time I've asked for help finding something, no one knows where it is, or passes me off to someone else who doesn't know where it is either. Eventually I just find it myself, but takes a painfully long time. I'd love to see staff members who are more informed about their section of the store.

Just went in for a refund. It took four people to figure out how to do this. That was after waiting 15 minutes as they chit chatted, read their messages and basically gave a demonstration in laziness. Whatever amount they are getting paid, it's like 15 times more than they should be. Management is the worst.

I had a really great positive shopping at Home Depot for outdoor trim paint. We previously had picked up various paint chips, then bought about 6 different small cans of sampler paint. We applied a small section of each to a board to put up next to our brick home to decide the winner. I wasn't sure which type of Behr paint to buy and Jess was very helpful. He asked me a few questions and I asked him a few questions and we landed on what we would need. I ordered 3 gallons of paint. He got the paint in the shaking/mixing machine, gave me some wood stirrers and a metal pry key and a plastic pour spout. I didn't know some paint lids were now plastic, cool! I told him my painter was coming within the next couple of days. He said make sure that the painter doesn't paint outside if the temperature is above 90 degrees because the paint might not adhere correctly and flake off. Luckily my painter started early in the morning snd got the job done before the heat of the day. Thanks Jess for all of your helpful advice! I then headed to the check out lanes and I was greeted by Joyce! She was so nice and friendly and rang up my paint lickety split! It was nice having two very pleasant employees take care of me!
