Refused to offer a receipt or any printout showing the packages we dropped off. Refused to scan them in the system in order to give a receipt. Refused to look into missing packages that were never scanned. Rep told me he was not allowed at this location to scan in packages on the system that would give me proof of receipt. Beware.

The absolutely BEST Post Office in a hundred mile radius!
I've been their client for over 12 years now, and although I've moved recently, I keep bringing my mail to this post office to send out.
Being an artist, I often send mail in envelopes that are painted, or designed to the specific aesthetic liking of the recipients, and often I address them in a fancy calligraphic script. When I mail them from this Post Office. they always reach the recipients in matter of days and in perfect condition! Always! (Below I attached some photos with examples of some of the painted envelopes that I sent out, the visible addresses on the photos are not the actual recipients', and the real addresses are covered to protect the privacy of the recipients).
Avis is the kindest, most courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful clerk you can ever meet. He helped me with finding the most effective way to send mail to my friends around the globe, and even the envelopes that I send to the other side of the planet - to Japan, Thailand, and the Philippines - always reach their recipients in a timely manner.
Last year I was sending an envelope that was not only painted, but was also decorated with silver glitter spray, and on top of that I could not write the my actual return address, because that piece of mail was being sent to my little grandson from Santa Claus, so the return address said ''From Santa Claus at the North Pole''. The letter inside was hand written and also decorated with a painting of snowmen and glitter. There was a chance that this very special mail would be rejected by the postal service, or would not be able to be delivered as such.
But Avis came to the rescue, accepted my Santa letter, and the next day, my Grandson received the Santa letter, retrieved it from the mailbox with much joy, cheer, and glee, and holding it tightly, with a big smile on his face skipped all the way back to the front door. The following week he prepared cookies and milk for Santa, and left carrots on the front lawn for Santa's reindeer!
This location offers PO Boxes, self-serve mailing & stamps buying station, and is well accessible for clients in wheelchairs.
I highly recommend this Post Office for all your mailing needs!

TRASH!! ALVIN is trash! He tries to talk over you he won't let you speak when you're trying to ask a question to get help all he wants to do is to talk over you and make you go away as if he knows everything. He does not he's a complete idiot who can't even perform his job properly and shut up while the customers talking!!

They're only open for 6 hours...10a until 4p. Why are they closed for lunch? They posted a handwritten note without informing customers when they would return. The formal posted hours of operation state nothing about closing an hour or more for lunch. Customers have been standing and waiting for quite some time.

There was only one gentleman at the counter when I went in, with about 5 people in line. He assisted all of us quickly and even mentioned of the self service capabilities to save time if we preferred on our next visit. Great job.

I don’t understand why this location doesn’t scan your package to give you peace of mind that they scanned it and it’s on its way. I dropped off my package at 8:30AM and waited all evening until 11pm got notification that at 9:52pm it was scanned by Dallas Distribution. Also the web is delayed!
