“I recently discovered Dollar General! I am very happy to see that they even have one near my neighborhood. The Dollar General I visited on Decatur has a friendly staff! They're very patient, pleasant, and they know where things are located in the store. Now the store is kind of empty. That may be from the recent Covid attacks on stores or because things sell out very quickly here. But, either way, I was able to find what I was looking for and and more things too. Then, I was able to get in and out in short order. I recommend this store and I think you will too.”

“Clearance items never marked, and shelf they use fir clearance is the overall stock shelf also so items at full price are on it too. Then cashier catches attitude when u tell them u don't want the item back its not clearanced price. ??”

“I love this Dollar General because they have everything I need and the price is great. When I say I live below my means on purpose oh I mean that!! I shop at four stores: HEB, Dollar General, Walmart sometimes, and Target when I treat myself I brought all my detergent and dryer sheets from here! I am on my second container and Sundays& Mondays are Laundry Days no exceptions. “Midgrade store for obtaining a few items of a particular need. You should not pay for a high quantity of items at each visit. It is not a discount store. Get an item you want to fix a need. Try a second after the first, if you want spend extra. See if you like the idea when going to the next place in life. The store is for boosting income by strange luxury. You do not select a good life style from surviving off these types of items. That is why you try to cure the need. It is good for that.”

“Visited this location for the first time. Went on the hunt after seeing an item I wanted via YouTube. Stopped here after some other locations. They have the most extensive stationary/office supply section I've ever seen from any DT location. . . and yep I found exactly what I needed and then some. Oh my...how in the world did I spend $30.00 when I only came to spend about five. Ha!”

“I did not go in the family dollar but I stopped at the BBQ truck in the parking lot and this was off the bone, tender, and very flavorful ribs i had so if you want some good bbq... that's the place... like I wanted to go back for a second plate but I had to go back to work but he will definitely be my bbq guy from now on”

The overall general manager was extremely rude with one of my experiences here and completely treated me like trash because he assumed I was a different customer from a previous interaction and I had never dealt with him before in my life.i frequent this dollar general it's close to where I live. “Went in today to grab some food items and MAN, I was blown away by how organized it was. I didn't get her name but the stock associate's (African-American woman with the glasses) merchandising skills are top notch. Everything was neat, clean, organized with the labels facing front. You just don't see that type of attention to detail very often. In addition to the cleanliness of the store, all the associates were friendly and approachable.”
