Was told I would be refunded for days I did not use the vehicle when picked up. My truck was getting a new transmission, so there was no way to know when it would be ready. I turned the vehicle in 1 day early after 2 weeks and was told it was “policy” that if reserved with a credit card, there is no refund. Customer service said it was “policy” but were unable to tell me where it says that in my contract. Vehicle was nice. Waiting on supervisor to respond. I will never rent from AVIS again.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of renting a car from Avis, and what started as a seemingly ordinary transaction quickly turned into a nightmare. I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Avis and their questionable pet hair fee policy.During the rental period, my clothing apparently transferred some pet hair to the car's interior. To my shock, I was slapped with a hefty $75 pet hair removal fee upon returning the vehicle. Now, let me be clear: I did not bring any animals into the car. The pet hair in question simply transferred from my clothes, a fact that seems lost on Avis's customer service team.Firstly, the exorbitant nature of the fee is completely disproportionate to the alleged offense. Charging $75 for a bit of pet hair on the seats, is downright absurd. It feels like a blatant attempt to squeeze extra money customers. The representative seemed more interested in sticking to the company's rigid policies than addressing the injustice of charging a customer for something beyond their control.My experience with Avis has been nothing short of a rip-off. The company's pet hair fee is an exploitative and unjust money grab, and their lack of customer understanding and service only exacerbates the problem. I strongly caution potential renters to be aware of these hidden fees and consider alternative rental options that prioritize fairness and customer satisfaction. Avis, you've lost my trust, and I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

you reserve a vehicle a night before on their web site but next Day the vehicle is not there or they don't have one and they want to put you one bigger and more gas consumptions for your picket fence.

Booked a SUV online, visitor from Canada. Given a Mazda thought asked for Toyota RAV. Car had mileage of more than 65K and had lots of dents and scratches. FOB battery was low and when asked to change the battery the sales person said don’t worry nothing will happen. The wipers were not working up to the mark during rain and rubber of one the wiper had passed it’s life and was hanging. I was really disappointed with Avis this was my first time using Avis though I am a fan of Enterprise. They always provide a well maintained low mileage car.

I've been renting from this particular location for 6 months now, at least 2x's per month and have not had any issues. Rocky is always customer friendly and ready to help in any way she can. Thanks for your great customer service Rocky and keep up the good work.

Staff person was rude and inexperienced. Asking unnecessary and irrelevant questions. I reserved a full size vehicle but upon my arrival none were available. I was given a dirty (yes dirty! The backseats were disgusting) SUV that performed horribly. The staff person marked the vehicle as having a full tank, it didn’t. The engine light came on, it was a gas guzzler. I contacted other AVIS locations to exchange, none had available vehicles.

This is the second time in 2 months I was allocated a Toyota Corolla as my rental vehicle at this location. In both cases the low tire pressure gauge lit up when I turned on the ignition, and there was no windshield wiper fluid. Different vehicles, as the license plates were different. I needed to get on the road and could not waste time with the staff trying to get these problems addressed. The staff attitudes when I picked up the keys and paperwork were not particularly helpful anyway. On the first rental I found out later there was a half-eaten bagel under the passenger seat. Absolutely gross. Also, in both cases the fuel gauge was barely at the F mark, which means the tank really wasn't full but likely a gallon or two short.

Would not rent a car to my husband because he didn't have a credit card even after he paid with his debit card to rent a car weeks in advance after sucessfully renting a car from them months ago (also with no credit card). We had to make other arrangements last minute for Thanksgiving because they couldn't bother communicating that to us ahead of time and we almost didn't get to go home to another state to see our family. We ended up having to leave multiple hours later and had to pay for an additional hotel night because of their bad business practices. We will never rent here again. Total waste of time, money, and energy. Honestly, I think they were just making excuses to not rent to us because they had already rented the car we reserved since they didn't have the type we reserved when we showed up.

I usually have a good experience at this location. But this time upon returning my car it was not a good one. I was in a rush to get to work & had to drop off the rental. I filled up the car with gas prior to return. It was very slightly under full & the last Rockie asked me if I wanted to top it off bc I will be charged $20 a gallon. I said it is full & I have to get to work can you make an exception & slightly under I just put gas in it. She said no, bc the system will automatically charge me. Yeah, she will charge me not the system I am sure. She said it will come out of her check. I had to go all the way on the other side of the freeway & it took me $5 to top it off. I am just a bit upset I could not get a little break this time. The other people that have worked here have done it before. I understand if it was under a full tank But really? ? Upon on return, I gave her the keys & she didn’t even say anything to me. Just took the keys . Wow.

I rented from this location and when the car was returned I was told $98 total and I have almost $200 in charges on my card. Additionally, I filled up before returning the vehicle and was charged a fuel fee. I will be disputing the charges.
