I have lived at this property for a year and a couple months now and i am very pleased with the office staff, maintenance crew and my home. The office staff is sweet and friendly, the maintenance crew is awesome, they come no later than a day even same day sometimes. I feel safe on this property and i am very happy with my home. Special shout out to Ms. Raina (property manager) and to Cantu (head of maintenance).

Great Place to Live!!!!!The staff is very helpful and responds in a timely manner. The maintenance team is always out within one to two days and responds immediately if necessary! The property is kept up with and the apartments are in great condition. I love it here!

I just wanted to thank the Courtland Team for the great job they did hosting the Wednesday Wine Down. It was nice to chat with a few of the other residents and the leasing office staff. They did an amazing job with the event and deserve a huge Kudos!! Can't wait for the next one that's coming up soon.

I lived here with my roommate before moving to another Cortland property. The reason I chose another Cortland property is because of my experience here! Raina is the property manager and she makes SURE you are taken care of. Maintenance staff are quick to reply. James was helpful navigating through ledger questions. I stopped by recently for a package that accidentally got delivered and the new leasing agent (Lauren, I believe) went above and beyond to locate it. LEASE HERE, you won't regret it - I never did.

i lived here for 3 years and have some stories to tell. first week i moved in, a car was left on bricks. i found out quickly there are no security camera’s around the complex.this apartment is near schools so it has a lot of kids/families but that doesn’t mean you won’t have creepy interactions with tenants. people were leaving notes in my door handle & windshield. guys would try and talk to me while i walked my dog and then would attempt to follow me back to my building. i know the management can’t prevent people from being creeps but knowing they don’t have security cameras around makes it feel like they’re neglecting to try discourage these things. i had become acquaintances with one of the maintenance men and he would even tell me about some creepy comments other tenants were making, it made him feel so uncomfortable that he would escort me from my door to my car. eventually he quit so i had to start looking over my shoulder again.1 weekend there was a freeze and something had died in the walls of my unit, also i noticed a water stain under my window and wanted it to be looked at incase it was an active leak. i submitted a work ticket and selected the box that said “call to schedule” and waited for days to receive a call. finally i called the office and was informed that they aren’t required to call and schedule (even though it’s an option on THEIR website) they can just enter whenever they want. i proceeded to inform her i wanted it scheduled so i could point to the water stain since it wasn’t easy to notice and also i had a dog and he need to be in his kennel when they show. she was rude and defensive from the start when all i was trying to do was schedule a maintenance appointment. eventually she said the reason they weren’t calling to schedule is because they had import maintenance to attend too from the freeze. i understand that but i am also living with a horrible rotting smell in my apartment, it literally made me feel sick plus the potential water leak in my walls but i guess it’s not “urgent” enough. finally the maintenance guy showed up over 2 weeks later and he handed my roommate sticky traps to set on the floor and left. they never removed the rotting rodent from our walls and didn’t really say anything about the water damage other than “oh it’s okay” and left. the smell eventually faded and we didn’t have a noticeable change in our water bill so we just let the situation go.within the last few months of living there, my roommate and i decided we wanted to try and look for a house to rent. homes are similar to apartments, they want tenants within the month. we had been searching and found a home we wanted to apply for, the application was over a week before our 60 day notice and we were waiting to see if we would get approved. eventually my agent called and informed me the homeowner had been waiting for a response from the apartment about my renters history and that i should call the office and make sure they saw/received it. when i called i learned they won’t respond to rental history UNTIL you submit your notice. the only reason we didn’t submit yet was because we weren’t sure if we had somewhere to move too. so i emailed her the notice (only 9 days late of a 60 day notice) and they forced me to pay for an extra 10 days at the complex even though i was going to be out of the unit before my lease was up. they charged me over $800 for 10 days. i didn’t fight and just paid it.after move out, i deep cleaned the apartment. i left it in better condition then i received it. but now i have to pay some extra carpet cleaning fee because i had a dog. they claim the stains under the carpet were from him even though the stains in the photo is where my furniture was so there was no way he did it. i told them it was probably from the prior tenants and i shouldn’t have to pay it. but they insist i do, it’s another $300 ?♀️ turns out the $400 pet deposit that you pay isn’t a deposit just a “fee” so it doesn’t cover any damages OR the $275 admin fees.

So, I've lived here for a whole year now. Overall, this company is very professional and helpful!! They are quick to respond and answer you, kind and very understanding as well. I really appreciate their hard work and their maintenance work as well. Their maintenance is quick to respond too!! They are very positive and even remember my name! :)The whole complex is very clean and well kept, the ducks are so fun to see daily here and it's such a nice area! It's really neat how they have community nights weekly here too from food trucks to I believe their yoga and other activities they've had in the past too! The pool is really nice, shiny, and pretty too! I haven't used it, but it's pretty! Haha. I really love running around the neighborhoods here too! :D

This community is a great place to stay at, Both Maggie and Rayna did a great job showing a professional attitude, it took a short time to sign the contract and move in with no issues, nice amenities, a pool, and a maintenance technician to fix any issues, highly recommended to stay there.
