Tech could not get front left camber set on my 2017 Sportage. When I asked the service writer why he said I would need a cam bolt kit. When I asked why, was there a suspension part that was worn he said no part was worn. When I questioned why I would need an after market cam bolt kit to set the camber to spec if there were no worn parts he said "You got me". It logically makes no sense to me you can't set the camber to spec with the factory adjustments if there are no parts that are worn. I am open to an explanation but am unable to get one.

Replaced 2 tires in the front & when you drove it, the tires were abnormally loud. Called back to let them know & they said to bring it in. They later let me know that the back tires probably needed to be replaced, however, it it still did it afterwards they wouldn’t be able to refund me for the two additional tires I didn’t need. Their other solution was to swap out the new tires I just bought for better, more expensive tires. I said I don’t want to do any of that & picked the SUV up. They ended up putting the two new tires in the back & the old ones in the front. I now had the tire gauge light on, so I called them again & they said I’d need to bring it in to have it looked at. I asked him if he thinks it could possibly have anything to do with what they just did & he said he would have to see, the tire sensor could be bad. We took the SUV to Integrity Tire & Auto on Hwy 90 & turns out that the tires were out of balance (1 oz & the other 2 oz). The acceptable range is typically 0.25 oz. They fixed it for free & we got our oil changes done. Car drives just fine now. Firestone rep was either trying to pull one over on us & sell us tires we didn’t need or just not educated enough in his industry to properly & correctly troubleshoot the problem. I will never go to this place again.

I went in on a Saturday afternoon for an inspection, almost knowing I would not be able to get an appt that day but my intent was mainly to make an appt for Sunday. John was super busy, but he took care of me and it was not a “hassle” he was like, “no worries, we got it, what vehicle did you bring us today…” DONE he made my unscheduled appt feel like a VIP who had made an advanced appt. Big thanks to my “pit-crew” at my Richmond Texas Firestone. Feeling “fired up” for Firestone!

I went to align my car and change the oil in my wife's car. They treated me well but they estimated a 1 hour wait and after a 2:30 wait I had to leave because they never attended to either car. I do not recommend them.

Women beware! They will try to upcharge you because they believe you don’t know what you’re talking about! They TRIED to charge triple the amount of dealership prices. When challenged with the price the displaying your KNOWLEDGE of cars the service provided to fix the car changed because we called them out on their fraudulent scam. For example a compressor from Firestone cost $700 where from the dealership itself cost $300. A service charge of $170 a hour for a 10 min job that was actually unnecessary is not okay. We paid a price for them to put back a part they didn’t have to change. Do not go here.

I love this location. They are slwsys super friendly and often have my car done before schedule. I have also never had them try to push unnecessary repairs. It feels more like a stand-alone shop because most of the same people have been there for years. Great vibes!

Firestone auto care Richmond - had good experience visiting this store. The staff was completely attentive and understood the issue with my car, inspected it throughly and fixed it in very short time. I really love the service provided. Thank you.
