Took my cats here to obtain international health certificate to travel to a different country. All done within few hours! Cats already microchipped, vaccinated, so only needed the doctor to apply for USDA export permit via VEHCS. He checked the documents, asked me to get overnight shipping label in pdf and I got them approved that very same day. I compared the cost with other vet, they charge outrageous compared to this vet. If you are flying your pets internationally any saving helps. Highly recommend.

I was recommended grand mission location by a customer of mine (I work as a receptionist) . She told me this clinic was nice and she was tired of going to vet clinics with insane prices and especially with rude receptionists and I agreed. I have a very large dog who gets allergies sometimes and comes with a lot skin problems , so I understood prior the prices would be higher at any place and was looking for something that I’d be able to work with so I came here I just came for an exam for now. The vet himself and the blonde vet tech were very sweet and informative. I liked them. But the receptionist at the front with colorful hair was not. It wasn’t until after I declined her heart worm recommendation(due to the prices) that I felt her body language become more rude and I saw her facial expressions in a judgmental way . And coach me about heart worms passive aggressively without making eye contact with me really lol when I know about heart worms anyway. At my old clinic I never paid that much for heart worm so I had to think about it I was caught off guard a bit.i thought I’d just get it next check most likely or back to my old clinic get them there . I work reception I get how it can be frustrating but if you want to judge someone do it in your head/fake it tbh. I give 3 stars because I appreciated the vet tech and vet , wish I could do individual stars on specific people experiences. Probably will just go back to my old clinic.

Yesterday I called and a different Dr. answered, he was polite and very nice. I told him about my dogs and he asked me to bring them today. I have 4 dogs that I bring every year for their vaccines, they all came last in July and got everything done. From check up, vaccines, heart-worm exam, even get the heart-worm vaccine. I brought them last during the Summer on a Thursday, where a very nice Dr. saw them. I asked him questions about my dog’s eye, and he told me that if I saw the white circle getting bigger to bring him back so he could give him a couple medications. He has been my favorite Dr. but have seen other nice ones. Today, I asked to leave work early because I was told to bring two of my doggies in.Today’s Dr. who told me he was owner and manager was super rude to me. You could tell he was having a bad day. He had just turned away another lady and her doggie because he told her he had no techs. Then he told me that he could not do an anal gland expression for one of mine because he needed someone to hold her. I could have helped, Im an RN lol, and the groomer does it all the time but I said ok, I understand. But he could he see my other dog’s eye, from which behind the counter he told me it was an ulcer and there was nothing to be done. Afterwards he told me my doggie had nothing on the eye. Then I explained to him what the other Dr. had told me, he made fun of me, treated me with such disrespect, after me rushing from work and asking permission to get off early. He then called the other Dr. at the Houston clinic to which he spoke to in another language constantly laughing and then told me that as per the other Dr. my dog had an eye infection…since July lol, and that he needed special medication that needed to be ordered. I asked him why was he being so mean when he answered, every time I talked he cut me off. He said two techs had called in, one for four days sick and the other one had a family member who had cancer, at this point I was listening, but then as I asked questions about my dog’s eye he was soooooo angry, told me he had to go pick up his daughter and I misunderstood he needed to go get her, to which I told him, if you wish I can wait in the car while you go get her. Omg, if this man did not have other doctors working there he would scare everyone off. He even gave his back to me, went to the back and left me talking alone. He said, BYE! I even told him God bless you, the guy really needs to be blessed with empathy towards others.I think these technicians probably called in because it was him, even I would call in to not be with him! Super rude! My first bad experience there and one I won’t forget. I then called the Houston location where a nice lady answered and heard me out. She told me to bring the pets in and apologized on this guy’s behalf. That is professionalism! And I’ve been reading through the reviews and he might be the one answering because he seems to not apologize but justify the behavior all the time. The techs have always been nice to me and all other doctors too. I still recommend the place not this particular Dr. Or maybe lets give him the benefit of the doubt and imagine he has issues or needs anger management. He has a golden ring with white things, so If you see this Dr. run, come another day! Indian, middle aged, angry or maybe today specifically he decided the 600 -700 dollars I pay when I bring all 4 dogs are not needed for his business. Now let me see your reply sir, hopefully you answer after a good meal and a full night sleep. But other than this Dr. the clinic is very good, people have always been nice and they have treated all my dogs with care. But due to him I give it 1 star, he is horrible. I wonder if he would have been this mean if my husband was with me.He needs some customer service training and some respect for women.

Wonderful people and place that won't break the bank. They were very caring and patient with my anxious pup and they didn't get mad when he peed all over the place. Could not ask for a better experience.

I like that they lock the door when my dog visits, because of his size & leash anxiety, it makes the vaccinations easier on my German Shepherd. They need to be more transparent about their pricing. I always end up paying more than quoted over the phone & the explanation is never very clear.

The best animal clinic in Houston. Period. Every time we have a new puppy, we visit them. Our dachshund had ear mites recently & everyone was helpful. Reasonably priced as well.

Very affordable. The doctor can be sometimes quite dismissive. I went to the door and my pup had split nail (we found after we went to another vet). We came here 3 times only for the vet send us home saying the pup is fine, “he’s pretending” (while he struggled with bleeding and excessive licking).

Honestly I never wrote a review because I rather just brush it over the shoulder But Lady with glasses is soo rude she needs to learn how to talk to customers instead talking to me like I’m dumb.I always refer people here because I work at a grooming salon but not anymore. The only reason I come here it’s because it’s cheap but anyways the prices are going up so I rather go somewhere where I’m welcomed instead being talked d*** too and laughed at because I got my dog from a breeder. like no kidding she dramatically had her head down and start laughing saying “these breeders “ Also I feel like I was being ashamed because I got my dog from a breeder. Please teach your employer how to talk properly and there’s different ways to communicate information.
