Absolutely Horrific Grooming Experience – Avoid at All Costs
We’ve taken our doodle to this PetSmart location several times, spending nearly $200 each visit. He’s a big, friendly dog who gets a little nervous at first, and in the past, we were allowed to walk him back to help ease his anxiety. But this time was a nightmare.
We were met by two extremely rude employees—an older woman and a younger woman with nose piercings—who immediately had an attitude. When our dog hesitated and nearly injured himself trying to resist, we asked to walk him back like we always have. They snapped back, “That’s not allowed,” with zero concern for our dog’s safety, only their own convenience.
Eventually, they dragged him in with us helping, but their tone and behavior left us very uneasy. Then the younger groomer came out and told us—with more attitude—that because of some spot matting, she’d have to shave him all the way down. We explained that this isn’t safe for his skin and that our vet warned against it, but she insisted, again with no care or professionalism.
What made it worse is that other groomers have handled spot matting just fine—never needing to take it all the way down, and never making it such a dramatic issue.
When we questioned their rude behavior, both of them smirked and basically said, “Yeah, this is how we are.” That was the last straw. We demanded our dog back and left.
These women were not only disrespectful—they were completely unfit to be handling animals. I’m honestly scared for the pets left in their care. I will never bring my dog back here, and I strongly urge others to stay away.

Went there to get fish.
A good variety of aquarium fish are available and a good range of fish tank supplies are available to choose from.

It's a clean place, and everything is fine and in order. Staffs are helpful and friendly with enough knowledge to assist you with what you want.

Seems like stores are cutting there inventory. I was looking for a de-wormer for a little kitten and they only had one option and I went to another store and they had the same product and it was cheaper at the other store. We have noticed higher prices and less inventory. We really do like this store it seems like online is taking over.

Alana PetSmart is more of the newest Petsmart that I know of. They are clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful if you need something and if you’re new to the pet world, they will be more than happy to come over and suggest you it is conveniently located on West Belfort
