I'm new to Pinch-A-Penny and my experience at this location has been wonderful. Milia Torres has helped me twice and was very helpful and knowledgeable. I have been going to Leslie Pool for the past 15 years but will be going to Pinch A Penny now.

Great people and products. They don’t try to oversell stuff you don’t really need.

The office in Richmond is a great and reliable company for regular pool-maintenance and cleaning. Recently, Carlos performed a maintenance just minutes before the freeze and did not hesitate to get the work done despite the outdoor conditions.

The employees that I have experienced on the weekends have been quite rude. I started going throughout the week. The men that work during the work week are quite knowledgeable and very nice.

Carlos saved my summer! My last pool guy wasn’t doing anything but removing leaves from the pool. Because of this, the dreaded yellow and black algae took over. Not only did he start treating the demons but recommended a great pool vacuum. With his team, I don’t feel like I have to baby sit them to make sure they are doing something to my pool. Their weekly maintenance package is extremely reasonable and I like that it’s locally owned!

Had a great experience at this location and working with the owners. They took the time to go over the different pool pumps and helped me select the right one for the pool. I also purchased the see-through style chlorinator which is amazing to be able to see how the chlorine tabs are doing! Install went great too. Overall 5 star experience!

Excited to have a pool supply company so close to home. Carlos was fantastic. He took the time explaining chemicals, and what my pool needed. I’m new at this pool thing, and I feel more confident that my pool skills are improving.

Well I was excited that a Pinch a Penny was in my area. My pool serviced recommended that I try them. I in the market for a $500-600 pool and spa motor. When I called the store their answering machine was still on from being closed at 11am. Valeska called me back an hour later, I asked if they had the motor I needed. Valeska begin to try and sell me some other new motor which she could not even explain in proper terms. I let her know that I was calling about the motor my repair man said to get and that their store was not that close and I wanted to call first. She said I needed to come in because she did not know if she could help over the phone and was really rude and short. She also told me to go to Leslie Pool. At that point I asked her name she laughed and said Valeska and that she was the owner and then hung up in my face. I was very surprised that a company’s owner would be so unprofessional and disrespectful with their customers. Valeska, Carlos, Tom and Mavi as a new company in this area I am disappointed. I have been in this area as a homeowner for 20 years. I have never been treated in this fashion in a place of business and if this is how you treat the people in our community you won’t last. You just made me a Leslie Pool customer for life. I pray that you guys see the error and correct it.
