Today 12/5/2025, 11:00 pm internet stated the store closes at 12:00am! This is the Christmas Holidays and the stores are open a little later than normal! The store manager Ms. Gabby has almost all the lights turned off in order to detour customers from coming in to shop! This is bad business for Ross and the money the business could be making! You can hardly see what you are trying to shop for and when asked by the Assoc: 2350696 why were the lights out, he advised me it’s because we normally close at 10:30pm!!!! 🚩 It’s the holidays and you’re not closed until 12:00 am, so this isn’t your normal business hours around this time of the year! It sucks because this store and the area has really went down in customer service! You guys don’t own Ross to make the rules! If you don’t want to service your customers while the store is suppose to be open, then I suggest you find another job/career! I’m a manger myself at a larger corporation and I wouldn’t have dared done this to pay customers! Parking lot just empty! Training is highly needed on rules and regulations here at this location! Maybe even a new staff! Overall disappointed!!

While in the store, someone stole my daughter’s purse. We asked the manager, Liliana, if she could check the cameras because she has personal-sensitive information. She basically said no. The cashier double scanned a few items and I noted before leaving so we went back. They immediately went to check the cameras for that.
Its interesting how they couldn't do it just a few mins before leaving with the purse but they can with the double scan.
What poor management! These things happen. Double scan, it unfortunately happens often, that is why I always check.
The way the manager handled it, wow. Very poor customer service. We didnt go to look around, just dropped over $500 in just that 1 visit.

Terrible experience with Yolando in the casket section. My 4-year-old was just picking out his own luggage for an upcoming trip, and we were rudely told not to touch anything. Super uncalled for and disrespectful. Zero stars if I could.

One of thee worst stores. They have closed all of the fitting rooms except one and refused to open it. When I asked why they couldn't open another one the woman shook her head and hand and said no. A person ahead of me had her husband zipping her dress with the door open and they kept standing by the door asking him not to help her. Very annoying. I may not return until they get some better employees

Extremely disappointed with towel purchase & poor customer services.
I recently (Nov.11/2024) purchased towels from the Ross Store located at 26944 FM-1093, Richmond, TX 77406 and was thoroughly disappointed with the quality. After washing them I discovered that they shed excessively causing my dryer machine to get stuck not once, not twice, but three times!
To make matters worse, when I attempt to return the towels, the store manager that was today Nov. 14 at 4pm, refused to provide a refund citing that the towels not longer had their tags. (I do not know who, but I do not wash fabric with the tags attached). However, I showed her the receipt and the credit card that I used to pay the towels. Also she explain to me that without the tags they wouldn’t be able to resell the towels, really? .
As a customer, I expect a basic level of quality and functionality from products, specially households essentials like towels. The store’s inability to stand behind their products and provide adequate customer service is appalling.

It’s good but compared to other Ross stores I’ve been to, it doesn’t have a variety of trendy young adult clothes (18-23 year olds)

Gave me a senior discount yesterday which saved me a whole dollar. Problem is, I am NOT a senior. Didn’t ask for the discount…guess she thought I looked old…very hurtful. Maybe don’t give that discount if the customer doesn’t ask for it.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Ross with a cashier named Liliana. While shopping for a gift, I found a lamp shade that perfectly fit my needs. However, my joy was short-lived due to Liliana's attitude when she noticed the shade didn't have a price tag. I mentioned that similar shades were priced at $5.99, but she responded sarcastically, "I don't think so." When I offered to find another similar shade, she abruptly refused and walked away, leaving me without any single word.Another cashier apologized for Liliana's behavior and offered assistance. When Liliana returned with the shade, she quoted a price of $12.99, which I questioned due to a slightly bent screw. She responded curtly, "No, I'm giving you a lower price than it's worth, $16.99." I suggested she could have started by acknowledging the discount, which would have improved my experience. Instead, she claimed she had no bags to wrap the shade, which I pointed out was not true, as there were sufficient bags behind her.As a customer, I don't want to leave a negative review, but I hope this feedback will help Ross improve their customer service training to multiply positive experiences. I suggest retraining Liliana to avoid similar experiences for future customers, because customers are the heart of Ross, and Liliana should take note.
