I highly recommend Yaklin Auto in Richwood, Texas. They helped us more than I could ever put into words. They stayed about an hour and a half after closing time to take care of us. No rushing. Very patient. Very kind. And met our needs to perfection. We went in nearly hopeless, and left in a vehicle we never dreamed possible. Huge thank you to the dedicated staff who helped us and a special thank you to car salesman Mr. David Lackey for making this possible.

I was lied to about a safety feature on a car I bought there 11/2022 and was told the only way to get a car with that feature without spending an arm and a leg was to order a new car. So I did that and waited and got lied to multiple times. Everyone I talked to said they were going to do everything they could to make the situation right. When my car finally came in after re-ordering it and talking to Mr Yaklin himself, it was treated as a trade in. With a $2k reduction in msrp. Don’t waste your time trusting anything anyone there (including the owner!!) says.

Dishonest-Yaklin is perpetuating the adage that you can’t trust a used car salesperson. Online, I recently found a reasonably priced 2022 Subaru Outback at their dealership with a little over 20k miles. Because the dealership was about 150 miles from my home, I had to rely on what I was being told by my sales associate (Saleen) and via the pictures provided. I asked repeatedly if there was anything of significance that I needed be made aware of in regards to the condition of the vehicle (i.e.- stains, rips, dents, dings, etc.) before making the nearly three-hour trek to the dealership. Because the vehicle was only over a little more than a year old, I had fairly high expectations about it’s current condition. I asked if the vehicle had been smoked in as this was a deal breaker for me (as I am an ex-smoker and can no longer tolerate the smell of smoke). The sales associate assured me that the vehicle was in excellent shape and had not been smoked in. After hearing all of these positive reports, I scheduled to go to the dealership on a Friday to see the vehicle in person, take it for a test drive, and hopeful complete the purchase. I set out and arrived at the dealership a few hours later. I found the vehicle on the lot and began inspecting the vehicle’s exterior. I immediately noticed the lower plastic molding on the passenger’s side was falling off. I then opened up the vehicle’s tailgate and was immediately hit with the pungent smell of lingering cigarette smoke. My initial sales associate (Saleen) was not present so I was greeted by a new sales associate (Joseph). I expressed to Joseph that I was not happy as I had been told this was a non-smoker’s vehicle. Joseph confirmed that the prior owner, Barb (apparently he knew her), had in fact been a smoker. Then he had the audacity to tell me that although Barb was a smoker, she never smoked inside the vehicle. He stated that she always stopped the vehicle and got out to have her smoke. He stated that the smell in the vehicle was from smoke that had drifted into the vehicle while Barb was smoking outside the vehicle. I couldn’t even believe that he was trying to pass this terrible lie off as fact. I actually wondered if he knew how preposterous this sounded as he was speaking it. I then opened the driver’s side door and found a burn mark on the interior door trim. When confronted with this evidence, Joseph just shrugged his shoulders and tried to redirect the conversation by explaining that they have a process at the dealership that can remove the smoke smell from a vehicle. He advised that their techs have just been too busy to complete “smoke smell removal” from this vehicle and that it would take about ½ a day to complete. I was frustrated at this statement as the dealership had known for days that I was coming to inspect/purchase this vehicle. At this point, I had already lost all confidence in the integrity of this dealership and it’s sales associates. I can’t comment on the auto repair shop or the new car dealership but I would strongly encourage anyone considering a vehicle purchase from the Yaklin used car dealership to reconsider. Yaklin has dishonest sales associates, buyer beware!

Wanted to purchase a blue 2022 F250 that they still have from a week and a half ago. The sales rep and I agreed upon a price with trade and sent me a buyers order for outside financing. The next day I changed my down payment and sales rep wasn’t answering so I called the dealer and got a sales manager on the phone to fix buyers order for outside financing to get approval. Got approved and called the sells rep, at this time he proceeded to tell me they will not accept my outside financing because they will “lose money”. Now that I have ran my credit they want me to fill out an app so they can run my credit again. This is not what we agreed upon and my option at the time of agreement for outside financing was not a problem. Very disappointing

Christie and Bridget really go above and beyond to figure things out for me and my husband! Even if it’s just calling with a silly question. Their customer service is excellent! Always friendly, smiling, and cracking jokes! Great environment to come into!

I had the BEST possible experience with EXCELLENT customer service at the Collision Center from Christie and Bridget! It was the worst imaginable life experience to have to go through with my vehicle but these ladies made me laugh and helped me through a very difficult time with phone calls to my insurance company and kind words of encouragement that I just wasn't really expecting to hear going into this situation. Their managers need to buy them lunch - they said Chic-Fil-A is their favorite :) they certainly deserve it with the 5 star customer service they are giving to the people that walk through the doors. Thank you ladies - you two really made my experience so much easier than expected!

We are a Ford family. Drove our 2016 Explorer in and purchased 2021 Expedition to replace our 2012 one. Bob is very happy with it. Saleen Rodriguez was our salesperson and she is friendly and knowledgeable. We are used to the couple of turn-off phrases which are common in the industry ("Are you prepared to go through with this today", and the finance manager--"You need the warranty because the autos are built by humans ") Our former company owned a whole fleet of Fords so we are familiar with the lingo. . We believe we got a fair price in today's market and stopped our search, cancelling the other 4 Expeditions we were also considering. They filled up the fuel tank before we left and that was a nice cherry on top.

Thanks to Deion Jones for a great buying experience at Yaklin Ford. We unexpectedly needed a new car in a hurry, and he worked with us to get just what we wanted. We were very happy with the whole process!

This is the reason car salesmen have such a sleazy reputation. Deceptive practices and intentionally misleading people for profit. Wasted an entire day to drive to this dealer based on a discussion with the sales manager. I should not have wasted my time. There are WAY too many choices to ever deal with this dealership again.

Steven & Deion were great to work with. They sold me a used truck, helped with a couple repairs and I couldn’t be happier. Overall, it was a great car buying experience.

Had been looking around the Austin area where we live at F150s. Down here for family business frequently and decided to check them out. Picked up a 2023 F150 Platinum today. Thanks to Saleen for making it a fun process.

If you want pieces of your interior to remain intact, don't bring it to them because they will break it. And then tell you it's consequential damage and then deny to fix it. I found Fifteen other reviews of them tearing up someone's interior and then doing nothing about it, and then saying it wasn't them and that you have to deal with it. They also wont answer your calls and avoid you . Avoid justin and his whole pack of gremlins. Take it to anyone else other than them. They are liars and crooks.
