Ive been trying to get my medication filled there for almost a week. All to find out they allegedly “do not accept Blue Cross insurance.” If that was the case- they could have told me the first time I came in to pick it up.. at which point the “blue cross website was down”. To top it off with each interaction they acted like it was an inconvenience to add my new insurance and kept trying to get me to use a prescription coupon card. Customer service is terrible- I wont be back.

I too am seeing a lot of bad reviews for this pharmacy, but I have had nothing but good experiences no matter when I've gone there to pick up our prescriptions and/or just buy things from the store. The pharmacy staff are always busy, but then again what pharmacy is not these days, but the staff are always helpful and friendly and have answered questions too. All in all I would highly recommend the CVS in Roanoke.

Extremely slow. Don't expect to be seen at your appointment time. There are much better alternatives to seek care.

The pharmacy is ridiculously bad. They physically told me a med would be ready in an hour and I went the next day to give them plenty of time and they said they didn’t have any. Now I’m having to go to a different store, which isn’t close, to get it and they didn’t even try to make it right. Incompetence at its finest. Do yourself a favor and go to Walgreens

I keep seeing people talk about how bad this pharmacy is, but I’ve had no issues at all since I switched to this one around a year ago. I had horrible experiences with Walgreens but this CVS has always been super helpful and on time. They don’t strike up conversation, sure, but why would someone want them to? It’s a pharmacy, pick up what you need and leave. When I transferred a prescription, I barely had to do anything. When I need a medication refilled, it’s done within a day of me ordering it. When I go in, they’re only busy around 6 when everyone goes to get their medications when they get off work. Any other time and they are fast and efficient. That being said, get the app. It’s much easier to manage medications and get refills. Don’t do things the slow way and then complain that it’s slow.

Drive thru was closed Sunday at 1:30 pm. The posted hours are open until 6 pm. I understand staff shortages, but, let ppl know.

It’s be 2 stars if they’d ever pick up the phone.

Went to the Minute Clinic inside CVS due to illness. The provider came back from his 1 hour lunch break 10 minutes late. Went into clinic and shut door after 10 more minutes he came out and went into back room. Upon his return I asked when I was going to be seen. He said my appointment was for 4pm and it was 1:45. I said but walk ins are welcome. He said only when available. I told him that there were no other people at the clinic and mentioned that he was just doing nothing after taking a longer than 1 hour break. He shrugged his shoulders and shut the door again.

The pharmacy folks at this CVS are not very helpful but Mr. Mitema Washington at the Minute Clinic is very professional and efficient. I was detected with COVID. He was very prompt, friendly and prescribed me the right medications which helped my recovery a lot smoother.

Pretty much consistent with the rest of the reviews. Will say anything to get you off the phone. Pharmacy staff says to come pickup in a hour and they still don’t have things ready an hour and beyond.

This place is a really busy location. So sometimes the line gets backed up. They have a lot of staff in the pharmacy at all times that I've seen. Usually about 6 people working. And they don't look like they're slacking that's for sure! Makes me worn out just watching them work so hard. Whenever I do have an issue or need help with finding a better price on my script, they're kind, patient, and helpful. Yes, sometimes the lines are long. I've waited 15 minutes for my turn before inside, longer in the drive-thru, but I still think it is well-staffed and the staff themselves have always shown to be wonderful people. I consider them very customer-focused.

Great customer service and Gabby went the extra mile to make sure I got the lowest price. They had the brand name Teva meds available which is a huge relief. Old pharmacy at Kroger kept switching my generic brand. So glad they had what I needed in stock.

This pharmacy charges 8-9x the amount for blood pressure medicine just because it's for a dog. It's for humans and if I said it was for myself it would be $12. They want $90 because it's for a dog. This doesn't happen at ANY OTHER PHARMACY the 4 timea I've had it filled. Last time I go here for any medication.

My new insurance works only through CVS. So this is how I learned what an absolute nightmare is to fill out a prescription through them. Two weeks later, I still do not have it filled. I can write a horror novel about the whole ordeal. If you have an option to choose - go somewhere else.

Takes too long to fill prescriptions, one was sent early in the morning and was ready before they closed, so I lost a day to start the treatment. The last prescriptions we filled here were slow as well, it's not dependable. I'll look for another pharmacy
