BEWARE this salon does not prioritize leaving you with healthy hair.
I waited a couple weeks before posting this review in hopes there would be some accountability, but that did not happen.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this salon. I spent over $300 on a color service that left my hair severely damaged. Since the appointment, my hair has been breaking constantly (rubbing between my fingers breaks it), feels gummy, and looks like a bird’s nest when air dried. I noticed the issue immediately after my first wash and I contacted them a day later.
What makes this even more upsetting is the salon’s response when I reached out to express my concerns. I asked to speak with the manager or owner, and an employee named Stephanie (who did not identify themselves as either) left me a voicemail that was dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than taking accountability or offering a proper solution, I was told that a little breakage is normal and that it could be due to hormones—completely disregarding the fact that my hair was NOT in this condition prior to the service. The stylist that was handling my hair said that she lightened it to at least a level 9 (my hair is very dark).
The suggestion to come in for a deep conditioner (paid for by me) felt like a brush-off rather than a real attempt to resolve the damage caused. I went to a different salon to get a second opinion on what happened and they said it was clear that my hair was over processed especially with it stretching and curling in on itself. The protein structure in my hair was compromised and no amount of moisture conditioner will help, it needs a protein bonder (which should have been used when processing my hair).
I trusted this salon with my hair, and I’ve been left with long-term consequences that could take months or even years to repair.
I would not recommend this salon to anyone seeking professional and responsible hair care—especially if you’re trusting them with a color service.

Katy did a great job with my mom, she was due for highlights and covering her grays and Katy heard all we wanted to accomplish with her hair. She did a beautiful brunette balayage and blended my mom’s grays.

My wife is gone to three different salons spent a lot of money and none of them could get her hair done correctly how she wanted it until we went to KTS they have a great staff there vibrant atmosphere and salon stylist that actually know what they're doing We had a great experience there and will continue to go there! Rylee took great care of my wife and she was extremely happy she also got her hair colored and they matched the color perfectly to what she wanted also the manager Stephanie Brewer was very knowledgeable and helpful when we had any questions.

I was in dire need of a hi lite/lo lite color correction. Stephanie was very kind and accommodating knowing I was visiting family here in TX. She got me in the same day I inquired about an appointment.
Rylee was personable and professional. Asking the right questions and proceeding with the plan she had in mind. Doing a good job and the final results proved it.

I’ve been coming to KTS for 7 years. Chris Morris has been doing my blonde highlights every 6 weeks, and I always get compliments on my color. If you like bright/ blonde he’s your guy. KTS has the friendliest staff (Stephanie front of house) to all the stylist you can’t go wrong. Also, pricing is very reasonable and competitive for the area.

My daughter found this salon in 2020. Didn’t not require masks. We have been instructed by doctor not to use one. These folks are so kind and they are very talented. My daughter has very curly thick hair, that likes to poof out like a tumbleweed, Brittney helped her find a style she likes and will be easy for her to care for. She didn’t get a blow dry this time, but it still looks beautiful!

I’ve been seeing Chris for the last 10 years and refuse to let anyone else touch my hair! I have super long hair and he does an amazing job with it every time. He really knows his stuff!
